@AirToob depending on the year you're at, there might be one or several bridges to choose.

When laying track, you'll have a pop-up menu with the sellectable bridges you can use.

The choices of styles are limited, so you might want to have a stroll through the Steam Workshop to get some extra content.

I'm still learning TF2... without mods, how do you choose the type of a bridge, or do you need mods for that?

The railway on the Douro Valley runs close to the river and slithers along the landscape lines. On the hardest parts it goes straight trough the mountains in tunnels.

Bridges should be made with either dark stone arches or with an iron deck.

Thanks so much for this masterwork. I was lucky enough to cruise the Douro once, and your map feels so authentic. I particularly liked Pinhão (where we moored once), which I have no idea how you created. It provided many enjoyable challenges for such a small place.

I was reluctant to change the character of this area as I remember it, so I played it with no trains or planes, just buses, trucks and especially river transport.

We didn't see much of the real life railway - I shall have to investigate it now how to fit it into this map. If you have any suggestions, they would be most appreciated!
