Welcome! This guide is to help players install the and play Morrowind with the Morrowind Overhaul 3.0!

This link will bring you to the official website where you can download the mod from different mirrors.

(NOTE: It is reccomended that you have a freshly installed morrowind without other mods installed, Your morrowind MUST BE ENGLISH)

After the install, unzip the program into your Morrowind folder
(If you need an unzip program, click the link -> http://download.cnet.com/WinRAR-32-bit/3000-2250_4-10007677.html)
(To find the morrowind folder, go to Program Files(x86), Scroll down to Steam, Select SteamApps, common, Morrowind, Then BAM you are there!)

Installing

To start the install, run the executable file MOinstaller.

First, you will be brought to a welcome screen, there is information about things that you may want to read on this slide. Click Next when you are done.

Second, you will see a screen that will confirm the install files are in the Morrowind folder, the game is patched to the latest version, Tribunal and Bloodmoon are installed, and User Account Control is Disabled (NOTE: You will have to restart your computer if you have it enabled). If everything says yes, continue forward by pressing next.

Third, you will see a screen that tells you to update your graphics drivers if you don't have them up to date. Updating them will increase your FPS dramatically for some computers so it is reccomended that you do that.

Fourth, you will see screens that make sure you have directX 9.0, Visual C++ 2008, and the .NET framework. If you installed Morrowind from steam, you will already have these installed.

Fifth, You will be prompted to extract the files into their locations within your morrowind directory. When you are finished, it will promp you to select the speed of your PC. When you are done, click on the next button.

Sixth, You will be prompted that morrowind.ini will be modified, click next. Now click on the button "Launch Code Patch". Select the options you want and then click apply chosen patches.

Seventh, you will be prompted to "launch MoRRoWiNi", the computer will move the mouse for you so sit back and wait.

Eighth, you will be prompted to "Launch Exe Optimizer", you may be prompted to find morrowind again.

Ninth, you will be promted to "Launch MSGO Options". when you have choosen the options you want, click next.

Tenth, you will be prompted to click "Launch Morrowind Launcher". You won't have to do anything once the launcher starts so wait for it to finish.

Eleventh, you will be told to disable the Steam In-Game overlay. You must do this or the game wont work.

Twelfth, you will be promted to "Run MLOX" and "Run 4GB Patch". Then it will show you your setting and ask you to press next.

Thirteenth, you will be prompted to either Manually Configure or click next to use the default choices.

Fourteenth, you will be prompted to "Run MGE". You will be asked to select your screen resolution.

FINALLY YOU ARE DONE!!!!

Since it isn't obvious till you click the link, do NOT follow the link in this guide. This mod guide is outdated and the links now lead to a malware site. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!
