Quick recovery in SoR4

its just the same like in SoR 1-3 but still worth mentioning

Oh, this crazy ladies... again! Its no problem - just press and hold UP+JUMP(or just hold jump button while in the air. Thanks XGear). Thats all.
That cancels any throw, just like in old games. Infact all moves from old games are there.

nice of you to remind, but i'd suggest changing the wording of the title; it's a bit confusing. it's called a "quick recovery" and you just have to press the jump button right as you are about to hit the ground after being thrown.

I've looked at this post three times now trying to figure out what the hell you were showing your throw being cancelled into before I realized you're talking about ukemi (quick recovery). lol.

For anyone who is as confused as me, it's just the ability to recover from light knockdown. There's no throw cancel for combo follow up or anything here.

As in the old games it won't work when you are slammed to the ground (as opposed to tossed into the air), like with the piledriver

Not only is it in here, but certain attacks can be recovered from this same way. If you are knocked into the air, there is a fair chance you can recover and land, negating a little bit of the damage. For example, if you are knocked out of a jumping attack by an uppercut and sent flying, you can recover, same as if you were thrown.

Its not UP+Jump. Its only Hold Jump Button while you are falling into the ground. UP+Jump Comand was in older versions of SOR.
