Erudite, Mechanic, and Virtuoso achievements

These are some of the more stubborn achievements in the game, two of which come down to the number of moves you can make and the other down to the time. The good news is you can get ALL of these by replaying the mini-games in the Extras menu, so you don't have to labor your way back through the main story to try again.

Erudite

This is the simplest of the batch. You have to get the crystals lined up this way within 3 minutes, which is more than enough time. If you have this image open on your phone in one hand while you click with the other, it'll be even easier.

Mechanic

This one's not so bad, it can just be a pain to wrap your head around and plan your moves in advance. I figured this one out on my third try, and then when I grabbed a notebook to write down my moves immediately after, it took me several tries to even remember what I'd done. Anyway the goal is to get this in under 40 spins, but we're going to come in at like a third of that, so you'll be through it in no time.

For this guide, we're going to use this reference for the two dials:


Your first set of moves will be:
R, R, R, L, L, L

The screen should now look like this:


If everything's good, finish it off with:

R, R, R, L, R, R, L

Voila! Easy achievement!

Virtuoso

This puzzle looks a lot worse than it is, and the trick to it is you have to double back in a couple of spots.
