How to Get Fish
Welcome to the game! First thing you'll want to do in TSDS is to grab fish to gain that sweet capitalism at the dock. This one is very simple, just stop your boat at a safe location without enemy ships close enough to attack you and wait. The more fishing rods you acquire in the game the easier it will be to gain more fish. The upgraded ship will also allow for a better capacity of the ship and more health allowing you to take more damage. If you do not want to stop your ship to slowly collect fish another option is to attack ships for fish, but this is a bit more of a risky payout. High risk, high reward. You can sell fish at the dock location on the north west side of the main (large) island in the center of the map.
How To Kill An Enemy And Heal
The first thing you'll want before attacking any enemy ships is a cannon. Cannons can be purchased at the dock and ensure a sweet victory for any foe. It also helps to have an upgraded ship that allows for more health, as many cannons as you can buy, and ample wood to allow a fast recovery if you are damaged.
To attack a ship ensure you have clicked on the ship or the ship has a circle icon above it. To attack you can press 1, unless the control layout was changed by you. if your ship's cannon icon on the bottom of the screen shows a big red circle on the top it is ready to attack. A cannonball should fire out towards an enemy ship when you are close enough to attack it, but an enemy ship will return fire as well.
It is important to remember that multiple ships can attack at once and while it may give you a larger reward, two ships can cause more damage to your ship. To properly attack a ship get close enough to fire and then move away and either clockwise or counter clockwise to avoid the returning cannonball from the enemy ship. This strategy may take getting used to, but is very efficient in minimizing damage taken.
To heal from an attack stop your ship and ensure the icon on the bottom right of the screen opposite of the cannon icon is correct (big red sign on top) and that you have wood in your inventory. Every piece of wood will return you one health. You may also buy quick health at the dock, but it is very costly and inefficient.
Gaining Each of the Three Achievements
That's not how it works
Die. You'll need to lower your ships health by allowing other ships to attack and not allowing your own ship to heal. It's suggested to do this early game to minimize score losses and loot losses.

Kill
Sink an enemy ship! Read the previous section on help to sink an enemy ship.

Murderer
Sink ten enemy ships! This is just like the previous achievement to sink an enemy ship, but instead this one requires ten enemy ships to be sunk overall.

Dude, nice guide. I truly was not expecting someone to have writing a guide for this game and you completely surprised me. I'm going to throw three awards your way just for going above & beyond the call of guide writing. Nice one! :lunar2020thinkingtiger:
