Dodging Explained

Recently I answered several questions about dodging and how dodging works in BB. I hope Steam BB community will find it usefull too.

Dodging

This is a short explanation how dodging works in Blood Bowl. Many people wonder why is dodging so hard or so easy.

• Player are making dodge roll when he/she tries to move out of the reach of enemy player.
  
• Dodge roll is an Agility roll with +1 bonus.
  Even a player with Agility 2 have 50 % chance to dodge to an empty field!
  
• It is subject to critical success and failure.
  Natural 1 on dice is always fail and the opposite natural 6 is always success.
  
• Dodge roll do not depend on any amount of tackle zones (TZ) you are currently in, only TZs that are on the field you are dodging into.
  Every TZ gives -1 penalty to roll.
  
• To make things simple, I do not calculate with any re-roll (team or from skill like dodge).
  
• Enjoy the picture, I hope there is no error except the rounding.
  The top two tables are about success of single dodge roll. What is agility of a player who is trying to dodge and number of TZs he/she is dodging into.

• Zero in the charts means that no roll is required.
  
• 1..6 represent the dice you need to succeed
  
• Percentage is your chance to succeed the dodge roll.

Your agility versus tacklezones table shouldn't go down lower than 2, the same way you don't have it go higher than 6.
