How-To: Skip Animations/Restore Original Art

Since many people would like to have it and many people don't know about it (Including me at first), here's the link to the moddb page where you can find two mods:

- "No Animations Mod" disables all card animations including Exodia (Which happens to crash the game for some people, this fixed it for me personally) and restores the original uncensored artwork.

- "Link Evolution JP Mod" only restores the artwork.

Installation guide is in the mods descriptions and it's very easy, it's just unpacking the archive and replacing two files. Have fun^^

So I tried copying the files directly, didn't work. Wasn't until I actually downloaded Winrar and used that to extract the files when everything went smoothly.

So does this No Animations Mod reset your save game if you drop the rar files into your game directory? Do you have to backup the files to not lose them?

For anyone who doesn't understand how to get this mod going, all you do is download the files, go to where Link Evolution is installed (where the .exe is in your Steam directory) and drag and drop the files you downloaded. They'll replace the old ones, and you'll have original JP art and no animations. Hope this helps.

Im ENDORSING the shout-out to the ART RESTORATION MOD. As an artist, this means a lot for many reasons. I appreciate the info. For DL it was a nightmare and only temp... I dislike Konami taking its audience like childrens with no agency. TY~! It worked for my FORTUNE LADY DARK!
