Market-Driven Economy:

Data-Driven Rates: Rates are based on real-world national freight data, including spot and contract rates. Adjustments simulate higher/lower rates for different trailer types. Pay close attention to market rates to maximize profits!
Dynamic Supply & Demand: Cargo availability can be affected by real-world factors like holidays or economic booms/busts.

Dynamic Cargo Rates v2.2: DCR is a dynamic pricing system for cargo, moving away from static base rates to a more realistic and economically responsive environment. Cargo rates will now fluctuate based on a combination of factors, primarily influenced by the real-life time of year.

*Seasonal Multipliers: A key component of this system is the implementation of Seasonal Multipliers. These multipliers adjust the base price of cargo to reflect changes in demand and supply throughout the year. For example, agricultural goods will have higher multipliers during harvest seasons, while heating fuels will see increased rates in winter.

*Real-World Alignment: The timing of these seasonal adjustments is tied to the real-life calendar, meaning in-game cargo prices will mirror actual seasonal trends in the transportation industry.

*Cargo Categorization: To facilitate this system, cargo has been categorized into logical groups (e.g., Agriculture & Food, Construction & Industrial Materials, Retail & Consumer Goods). Each category experiences unique seasonal demands.

*Automated Adjustments: Cargo rates are automatically updated behind the scenes by a scripting system, ensuring a continuously dynamic economy.

*Player Impact: This system introduces a new layer of strategic depth, encouraging players to plan routes and cargo choices around seasonal demand to maximize profitability. This initial implementation focuses on seasonal adjustments, with future updates planned to incorporate other economic factors and multipliers for an even more comprehensive and realistic economic simulation.

*Frkn64 Realistic Physics Mod may result in truck/trailer/parts unlock not working fully.
*Weather Mods such as Grimes may conflict with the GDC Logistics Realistic Ecomomy Mod's "Day of the Year" feature. Give the GDC Logistics Realistic Ecomomy Mod a higher priority if you want regularly updated day of the year settings.
*Compatible with most default game ratio maps (1:20). Avoid 1:1 ratio maps.
*Works with most Cargo/Trailer mods, but rates may vary for unique cargo/trailers.
