The Complex | Walkthrough & Achievement Guide (Optimized)

The Complex is an amazing FMV sci-fi thriller with several endings and twenty achievements.

Head to settings menu and enable "" before starting.
This option disables the timer when picking choices.

This guide uses save backups;
The reason for this is to avoid having to replay the game from scratch after each playthrough. However, if you decide to not make backups, simply follow the route in the second playthrough up to the required choice and continue from there. It's fast either way, as long as you don't pick any new choices along the way.

Different backups (e.g. Save 1 and Save 2) must be saved on different folders to avoid them overwriting each other.
Backups aren't made during the first playthrough due to the skip feature unlocking on the second.
Press to skip already seen scenes (unlocks on second playthrough).

For anyone confused about how to get to the save files, the easiest way to get there is to right-click on "The Complex" in your Steam library, go to 'Manage' → 'Browse local files'. This will open up a separate window. At the top, you should see the filepath, showing "Steam > steamapps > common > The Complex". Click on the folder labeled "Steam". From here, you can follow the filepath listed above by going click on 'userdata' → [your Steam ID] (can be found on this website [www.steamidfinder.com] listed as 'steamID3') → '1107790' [game's ID] → 'remote'.

The file named 'StoryData' is your save file. Copy and paste this elsewhere, then continue as the guide asks.
