Thanks for speaking up! I noticed this as well when making new saves and taking screenshots, but wasn't sure if I should mention anything since I'm mostly sure the developers will change it from the default before final release. If it doesn't get changed, well, I could see that being a problem. The hair though, I was thinking maybe you could have different colored hair because of dyeing, while your twin stayed the same? Not sure, but it takes no trouble from me to change what my guide says to include this information!
Luckily I'm mixed race and that kinda twin look wouldn't be too weird in my family, but I did find it a bit sad.
I think a few games have this issue.
I have no idea how to help you. I've been trying to recreate this on new saves and old saves and so far I haven't been able to get it to show up. If your trough is full, then the thirst label is probably just a residual word that doesn't mean anything. If it is affecting the animals mood, then its something to take to the developers as a glitch.
Well, once you have the watering can, all you need to do is make sure its in your hands and right click. In order to tell how much watering you need to do or even if a crop needs to be watered, you can press control (CTRL). This will let you see the status of your animals, people, and plants. It now tells you how long until the plant is grown too, regardless of if its something you planted or a dandelion sitting around the farm. Some things still need special situations in order to grow, even if they are ready.
