Christmas Achievements

Hey there. In this guide, I will show you how to get all the

4 Christmas Achievement.

1. Add a Christmas Radio Station

The first thing before starting up the game is to put a Christmas radio station on your game.
To do this, go to your steam directory and find radio2.txt.
It's located in "Steam\steamapps\common\Beat Hazard"

Next, open up the text file and edit the top text with this (just copy and paste the 2 line text below)

http://www.sky.fm/mp3/christmas.pls

Note : If the link in the guide is not working, you can always try to find more station at any website that has a "Christmas" word on it.

2. Play the game and survive

Now, launch the game to start getting the achievement.
Go to survival -> radio station and find your new radio station.
At first, you see a radio named http://www.sky.fm/mp3/christmas.pls
But after you highlighted it, you will get something like this.
Now, just survive it for 20 minute and you should get all the achievement.
Here's an example when you get the achievement.

5 minute.

10 minute.

15 minute.

20 minute.

For anyone else that is also trying to get the Xmas achivements, The 2nd station on this list is still working (the one ending in 94740). all the other links are dead.

You can use any radio station, with a bit work you could host your own station.

do you really have to listen to Christmas music for these? can you just not name any random radio station "Christmas" and have it take? really considering just not giving a shit about these achievements or the juggernaut achievement; far too obnoxious for me

I'd like to add some info for those who experience ear bleeding) You don't have to listen to that music, just turn it off in game settings and listen to your own music on phone or computer. I did that and completed these achievements with joy, even got arried away for 45 minutes

Well, there's a reason it needs to be played in "Survival Mode". It sure is a struggle, i had to turn off the sound and stop my ear bleed after 5 min.
As for the radio stations, i do think there is a christmas radio station constantly available throughout the year ingame now. So no need to customly add more. (Who would want to do that anyway?)

Thanks for the guide, the second alternate link worked just fine. Definitely a painful 20 minutes of terrible music, but turning it way down helps. Do people actually listen to this shit year round? I guess so if they have radio stations playing it.

This achievement is brutal, who wants to listen to Christmas music this long? Worst stuff other than Christian Rock. ;)
