Baking Textures From Blender 2.8x (Cycles) for Use in Substance Painter
От Pte Jack
This is a Cheat Sheet Guide (pictures only) on how I bake textures from Blender (2.8x Cycles) for as a base texture or for touch up in Substance Painter.

If you need to see the picture clearer, just click it to blow it up. If you need the image to be bigger still, Right click the image and copy the URL, then launch that URL in an Internet Browser and scale to what you need.

The Cheat Sheet assumes you already have basic knowledge of the 2 programs and just need a little help getting to where you need to be.

As a note: This process is also a great tool for creating ID Maps using Blender Colors as the base. Color your model using base colors then bake the texture. You can then import and use the image in Substance painter as an ID map/mask.

Example Of A Baked ID Map From Blender Used In SP
The various parts of the mesh was painted in Blender using Blender Base Colors so they can be picked out quickly for use as a mask then baked as a texture.

We can now import this texture and assign it as an ID Map in Substance Painter. Then by using Add Mask with Color Select, we can assign mesh of a certain color to the mask in a layer so it can be painted allowing us tighter control on what gets painted and how..

I have ready materials in Blender with textures, but its have custom shaders and this not export fine to FBX - i mean its one solid color in FBX without texture. I am planning bake texture, but bake in Blender so hard, i planning bake in Substance - but in substance open only FBX and this have clear materials. Maybe somebody know how i can bake it, without loss data.
