Synthetik Variants Guide (new in Update 25)

List of Synthetik Weapon Variants, which were added in Update 25 in March 2020.

This lists almost all the Variants tooltips you can view via the floppy disc icon in the upper right of the game's UI. I'll gradually add some notes and tips about each Variant. On the descriptions, note that white text indicates weapon bonus modifiers, while red text indicates negative weapon modifiers. As far as I know, Military Spec is the only Variant that has no negative weapon modifiers.

I think I've found 18 Variants to-date, and I'm not sure how many are in the game now.

March 28, 2020 Update

I finally got an Ultra Variant, on a R2000 'Sour' DMR rifle of all things, so I've added a tooltip info screenshot for that.

I've seen Standard and Factory New labels on some weapons, but these lack the new floppy disc icons that you hover over for the Variant tooltip info. So I don't think those two labels indicate any special qualities, per se.

NOTES: (12/17/2020) On certain weapons that could only pick up one bullet from ammo at a time, the -50% ammo gain modifier could result in situations where you couldn't add ANY ammo. Devs are fixing this so that this doesn't happen.

Printing needs at least ONE bullet/projectile to print from.

This variant is super powerful and extremely rare, which is why it took me a while to finally snap a screenshot of it. :) The -30 ammo gain isn't a huge deal, depending on what type of weapon the variant appears on.
