Backstory According To Ingame Scriptures

If you want to know what the inscriptions in the game say this is the guide for you.

Introduction

I was surprised that no-one appears to have tried an decyphered the foreign language in Luna. Thankfully it was easy to figure out the corresponding latin letters for the english translation.

The following are the results of my decryption efforts. They are a 1-to-1 translation and I'm pretty sure that I identified all letters correctly even though there are a number of grammatical mistakes in the translated texts. If you disagree drop a comment below. In this context, please note that the language apppears to not differenciate between full stop and comma.

Tower Entrance

The entrance room of the tower has four murals with one inscription for each:

age layh

wisdom man craft wooden boat
magic man summon wind to blow

age uri

name and fame are once we borrow
to light a candle is to cast a shadow

age nah[?]

heaven crack into rain and light
flood wash away green and pride

I could only find the last letter of the age name once, namely in this mural which is why I cannot identify it correctly. It could be Q, X, or Z which are the only remaining letters.

wheels keep rolling that never stop

Book in Library

The huge book in the library has four parts:



at the beginning of everything. the old god was born from the void. it waved its huge wing and stirred the space. the matter which precipitated from the chaos became the basic substance that made up the world.

the energy that raised and fell from the chaos seperated into light and darkness. from the light. gradually it gave birth to life and hope. and also to darkness. death



the first spirit came from the sky by the age of dune. it had the power of the old god's feather. it created the moon to guide the lost souls at night. and gave shadow at the day to protect the people from the burning sun. the tower was built. people called them the moon guardians.



the night would be released in the dark hours of the day by the moon guardians. dark crows. monsters and ghosts would be out and hunting.

they fed on the weak. the old and the dead souls. purify the soul to allow new life awake and taken place during the day. during the light hours. they hibernate or lingering among the wicked thoughts.



like the mirror that reflects the eternal. came with all the shadow and light.like life gives death lover endless

every darkest cavern was inside the mountain with beautiful sunshine on the outside. if you want to cast a shadow. you only need to lit a light. the moon guardians know that the best magic is not the magic at all. it has already been inside us. it's the gift of life and death themselves from the old god.

Innocentive, I also translated the texts!!! I put it on discussion, but not in your format. At first I thought your missing letter was actually L, but you're right, it's one of the 3 letters. So I guess I wasn't the only one who thought of translating them!
