Hello & welcome to my Death & Taxes achievement guide. I thought I'd organize all the information in an easy-to-read (hopefully) guide for anyone who might also need this information. I hope you enjoy, please check out my other guides if you're interested! ....φ(・∀・*)

Let us begin.. *:･ﾟ✧*:･ﾟ✧ (office achievements.)

➤ Office Achievements

Achievements that can be unlocked in your cute little office with your cute little marker of death.

Lemons
Start the game.


Should unlock as you open the game. (Or play through the intro at the latest)

Lifegiver
Spare everyone on a single day.

Mark all the profiles to live on one day, you'll receive a penalty but will not get fired for this.

Deathbringer
Doom everyone on a single day.

Mark all the profiles to die on one day. You can get this achievement if you're going for Long Live the King or Insubordinate. (See guide below)

Desk Jockey
Cram all of your stuff into your desk drawers.



Demon Hunter
Find the Immortal.

You must mark Masashinge Oni Lanzo to die 5 different times, then tell Fate that he keeps showing up in your profiles.

Darwin Award
Stop existing prematurely.

Constantly complain about your job and your existence whenever possible. On day 15 your own profile should show up and you need to mark it for death.

Pineapple Lover
Spare the guy who likes pineapple on pizza.

He may show up again, if you choose to doom him first you'll have to start a new playthrough to get this one.

Pineapple Hater
Doom the guy who likes pineapple on pizza.

➤ Fate Related Achievements

Achievements you can get interacting with Fate or generally in his office. Yeah. Cool.

Make it Rain
Get a raise.


Follow all the rules with minimal mistakes and this should unlock on the seventh day.

I Scream
Say that you like ice-cream.


Choose the "I like ice cream." dialogue option during one of the conversations held with Fate.

Meat Your Unmaker
Suggest that the afterlife is an eldritch monster dating show.

Say that the afterlife is an eldritch monster dating show during one of the conversations held with Fate.

Feline Fury
Pissed off the boss' cat.


Keep trying to pet, play with, etc. the cat when you get the chance.

Curious Grim
Asked all questions in first lore Hub.


Ask every question you can on day 5 when talking to Fate.

Rulebender
never fully abide by Fate's instructions.

Attempt to bend all the rules, always disobey what Fate asks without get fired. Here's a guide by claricestarling on a good way to achieve it, I will update this when I get any more information.

➤ Misc. Achievements

Achievements that can be unlocked during any run as well as Mortimer's achievements.

Yarr!
Visit Mortimer every day

Head to the shop at least once a day to unlock this, after you converse with Fate and get your paycheck is probably the best time to check it out. You don't have to buy anything when you visit.

Let it RIP
Get the fidget spinner to go up in flames


Purchase the fidget spinner and click on it until it bursts into flames.

What does the cactus say?
Get the cactus to meow.


Purchase the cactus and click on it until it mews. ( =^･ｪ･^=)

The Sacrifice
Appeased the boss' cat with a gift.


Purchase the cat toy and give it to the cat when the option is presented.

Two Face
Flip the Decision Coin 100 times.


Purchase the decision coin and flip it 100 times by clicking on it.

Classical
Change your look to regular skull and cape.

You must first purchase the mirror to change your appearance, buy the classical grim reaper cape and the white skull to unlock it.

Booty Obsession
Buy all the items from the Shop.


R.I.P. Fashion
Collect all clothes and visages.


Squeaky Clean
Use the Eraser 10 times.

Easiest accomplished during new game plus after everything has already been purchased as you will have to keep buying the erasers each time.

Mirror Lover
Choose your appearance for more than 15 minutes straight.


To Be Or Not To Be
Spend 10 minutes behind your desk without marking any profiles.


Necropimp
Hold over 5000 darksouls.


In game currency, easy to achieve once you've bought everything already.

Down, down under the earth *･ﾟﾟ･*:.｡..｡.:(ending achievements.)

➤ Post Game Achievements

Stats & Ending achievements including a brief summary on how to get them. Spoilers ahead.

Begin Again
Start a New Game+

Choose to start over and try again when Mort asks. If you choose the other option the credits will play where you will be able to collect the following achievements.

Much Love
Spare every profile that appears during the credits.


Development Hell
Doom every profile that appears during the credits.

The snowglobe & the lamp will be really helpful for these stat-related achievements. You can also download the dntwatcher[panley.co.uk] to check how the game is going. (requires downloading python)

Cure Cancer
Finish the game with the lowest chaos in Health.


Stonks
Finish the game with the lowest chaos in Prosperity.


War Changes
Finish the game with lowest chaos in Peace.


Treehugger
Finish the game with the lowest chaos level in Ecology.


Benefactor
Raise a single world stat at least two levels in one day.


Utopia
Reach utopian level on all stats simultaneously.


Plague Doctor
Finish the game with highest chaos in Health.


Global Warming
Finish the game with the highest chaos in Ecology.


Back to the Roots
Finish the game with the highest chaos in Prosperity.


Total War
Finish the game with the highest chaos in Peace.


This is Fine
Drop a single world parameter value at least 2 levels in one day.


Armageddon
Reach critical level on all stats simultaneously.

➤ Ending Related Achievements

All the endings you can unlock in Death & Taxes including tips on how to get them, probably a wip. It'd be a safe bet to assume so.

Insubordinate
Get Fired.

To achieve this, I sassed the ♥♥♥♥ out of Fate as well as marking everyone to die on each day and breaking any rules that were asked of him.

Long Live the King
Usurp Fate and take over as the new Fate.

To achieve this, you must follow the directions of the red profiles and the voice in the mirror

Fate's Pet
Reveal Fate’s Plot by being completely loyal to him.

Follow all the rules and agree with what Fate says. Convince him to write his book and agree that all human's should die. You can also give Ms Pawdington the gerbil to help guarantee this.

The Great Dying
Knowingly fulfill Fate’s plan to end the world.

Become Fate's friend, wait until he tells you his plan and help him carry it out until everyone is dead. I *believe* following the rules as closely isn't as important, go along with what he is saying but you don't have to be a kiss ass basically. I am just a simple guidemaker I apologize if this is wrong.

I'll Be Back
Witness the end of the world.

Bring about the end of the world. Reign in the chaos. Why don't you grab a cup of coffee and stay a while?

Ouroboros
Take over Fate’s place.

Take over fate's job and accept the offer when he makes it and save humanity. Comply with the necessary number of deaths daily and basically ignore secondary objectives.

The Goodest Ending
Get the most positive ending imaginable.

Keep prosperity high and chaos low, you should unlock this while going for the Utopia achievement. (See above)

Infinitarium
Get all endings.


EGG
Find the ultimate Easter Egg in Death and Taxes.

➤ Halloween. Achievements

There was an update that added 10 achievements + a new location & charas. I will continue to update this part as I find out more information / more specific ways to help! ( ´-ω･)︻┻┳══━

Ears of Steel
Listen to all of Mortimer’s bar stories.

The option to tell him a story will only come after this one, on the last weekend he will tell you a story (Unless you are going for the utopia ending)

Non Sequitur
Spin a nonsensical story for Mortimer.

Try and choose the most *nonsensical* options. If you mess this up close the game before the conversation ends.

Talemaster
Spin a good story for Mortimer.


Posthumous Spiritualism
Try all the drinks served at Cerberus' Den.There are some drinks you'll have to unlock so I reccomend checking out Echo's lovely guide for more information on that!

There should be 16 drinks in total at the bar.

➤ Cerberus' Den Achievements

Balancer
Score a vague personality in Cerri’s quiz.

Choose the vague options in the quiz, this should be generally easy to get. I'll update this one with more information if I can find it. ☆ｏ(＞＜；)○

Misery Guts
Score a grouchy personality in Cerri’s quiz.


KILLDOZER 9000
Score an aggressive personality in Cerri’s quiz.

➤ Misc Achievements

Yot
Press the Discord button.


Oink
Chunk up the Oink Bank.

Purchase the piggy bank from the store & put your money in it until you get this achievement.

Phastmatological Zoologist
Collect all Desk Spirits.

Choose all five options when Fate asks about the idioms on the last Monday. This will unlock cocktails, order them from the bar and it should unlock the next day. You'll have to do a run for each one.

I did a run that should have unlocked Fate's Pet and The Great Dying, and didn't get either.

@cookies_402 I accidently got Ouroborus when following the rulebreaker guide linked here so..
Follow that guide best you can, including a comment that adds making everyone live on days 24 and 25 (you gotta be careful to avoid Fate giving you reviews those days or youll be fired), and then just make sure to take dialogue choices in the final day 28 meeting that get you to take over for Fate.

Does someone have any tips for ouroborus??? I just can't seem to get it even though I comply with daily death counts

Thanks for this guide! I noticed two tiny mistakes.
1. “buy the classical grim reaper cape and the white skull to unlock it” → IIRC, the skull is part of the default look and thus does not have to be bought.
2. “Take over fate's job” → “fate” is missing a capital letter.

The fates pet achievement can also be guaranteed by giving the gerbil and killing all the humans on one day and telling Fate it was because you hated the humans. He tells the plan on day 14 so if you didnt get it you might want to reset

Comma, if everything goes perfect, mortimers stories take at least 6 runs, then if rng screws you over while getting the egg, it can take many more.

Just something I'd like to mention about the 'fate's pet' achievement: if you complain about fate to your fellow co-workers in cerberus' den, it WILL cause the run to fail...although you will get a funny set of instructions on day 18 that are nigh impossible to follow (spare retired humans with green eyes, spare at least one human working in the civil service who has lost a leg, ect.) and even have the opportunity to call him out on it.
