The Missable Disguises
The Base Commander
This disguise is acquired through multiple quests and several Blacknet stronghold missions. Some don't involve this disguise, however, like Stronghold 9-B from Operation: Spotted Cat. If you don't care about getting every power or just start a New Game + with them already unlocked you can always leave a stronghold unfinished to access this disguise as you please end game. My preferred stronghold to use is 7-H from Operation: Keyhole "bruh."

The Alternate Base Commander (No Helmet)
This disguise only appears around the beginning of the game during the tutorial mission The Strong Survive and the first Blacknet mission Operation: Orion's Belt which is also a tutorial mission you're forced to do at the beginning of the game. Essentially this disguise becomes unacquirable shortly after the start of the game.

Lieutenant Clint Riley
This disguise appears multiple times throughout the main questline after first consuming him in Taking the Castle. It's automatically equipped as your disguise upon the start of several quests along the questline up to Lost in the System after which it will become lost completely if you replace it with any other disguise.

Agent Barnes Griffin
This disguise is only acquired once throughout the game as the end goal of Divine Intervention. You consume Barnes at the end of the mission then the disguise is yours. Sadly it's replaced by Lt. Clint Riley's the very next mission. What makes this disguise interesting is the fact it lets you enter military bases as a man in a suit. Pretty neat.

If I forgot any unique missable disguises in this little list please do tell me. Enjoy Prototype fans.

It doesn't count as "missable" if it's just a unique character who you DEFINITELY NEED TO CONSUME.

You aren't missing it, you're just likely to lose it if you consume someone else. You cannot physically miss any of these disguises if you play the full game, because they are required consumes.

Don't worry guys I hear they fix this in Prototype 3 and you can play as stray cats and dogs.

Yeah. Like when Heller needs to talk to Rook, no matter what he has as disguise, he just auto-shifts back to Rook's second in command.

Worse yet they actually show you Mercer/Heller can retain disguises through certain missions that will bring back old disguises you took for use even though you're not retaking them. They pretty much just never let us use it.
