How To Use TF2 Hats / Weapons in Singleplayer + Posing & Screenshots

Feast your eyes on this attractive looking guide, as I show you newcomers to Gmod, how to put hats on Ragdolls from TF2!

Starting up Gmod

First, what you gotta do is, simply load the game, then scroll down in the Guide for more info after you've done this step!

In-Game time!

Once you start in a map, hold Q, then look to the right of the screen, and go down to where it says [+] Games, then click one Icon that says [+] tf.

Scrolling Down!

Once you open the folder entitled [+] tf, the [+] should turn into a [-], then scroll down to where it says [+] player, click the [+] again, scroll down a bit until you see a folder named [+] items. Once you are through to the [+] item menu, it will give you all the TF2 class items folders, and MvM ones, too.

Finding Hats

When you go to, for example, the Heavy folder, pick a Hat you like or see, click it, and it should spawn in front of you.

Hat Time!

When you've found the Hat you most desire, let go of Q, spawn a Ragdoll if you know how, and let me tell you the rest in the next section. :)

Using the Toolgun

If you know most of the primary functions of the toolgun, this should be a sinch for you. For newcomers, the Toolgun is a reliable weapon in Gmod. To do things right, subscribe to the Bonemerger tool http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=170917418&searchtext=Bonemerger take out the Toolgun, hold Q, and at the left of the screen should be the tool selection, scroll to the bottom to find the bonemerger tool, select that, click on the Ragdoll then the Hat.

Ragdoll Posing

To pose a Ragdoll standing straight up almost instantly, use the "Stand Pose Tool Addon" http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=104576786&searchtext=Stand+Pose When you download that, you can press and hold c, and scroll over the ragdoll and click "Stand Pose" which stands the ragdoll in their default "T-Pose."

Once you've taken the liberty of making your TF2 Ragdoll the way you mean it to be, take out the Camera, find a good angle, then *click!* you made yourself a Screenshot! :D
