Step 1. Spawning the prop.
To spawn a prop, hold Q and click the prop you want to make a fading door. You can also place a prop to put the button or keypad on. But you can also just use walls!

You can "freeze" a prop by right-clicking while holding the prop with your laser gun (physgun)
Step 2. Making it a fading door.
Now, when you have spawned your prop, hold Q again and go to "fading doors"
Most servers will have this, but you will have to download it off the workshop if it's not there.
When you are at fading door:
Bind "button" to the button you want to hold/press when opening it. You can also change the material if you want to, not necessary though. Toggle active will make it stay open if you press "button" and close when you press "button" again, and Reverse will make it CLOSE when you hold "button"
When you have the right settings, click on your prop. Now try holding "button" to see if the fading door opens.
Step 3. Binding it to a keypad/button.
The keypad will be just like the button, but I will be using the button for this example.
Go to button at your tools list, and Make sure your "key to simulate" is set to the same button that your "fading door" is at. For me that is numpad 6. You can also add a "label" This will show when hovering over the button.
For keypad, it will be the same, just make sure you have "button" binded to the keypad, also make sure you get a code for it! So it's not just 1234.
Step 4. Test it!
Now test your fading door. If I doesn't work. Try checking if your binds are all set to 1 button. Otherwise try again. Some servers use "keypad doors" instead. here, just click the door twice and it makes a keypad that opens the prop. Press F2 on the keypad to change its settings.
