Easy way to get going in the game using a pet class.

This basic guide will give you a good start for the game if you wish not to deal with getting the soul packs as well just sticking to the basic downloaded version for awhile. We will stick to using one class and still have one more slot to use for another character later on. I suggest using the necromancer for starting off with.This guide is just wanting to give you some idea of how to get things going with out getting into to much detail in order to make it easier for the player.

Starting with necromancer a pet class .

To keep this guide basic as possible to help give you all some idea we will start with one class and focus on it. The class i would say to start off with would have to be the necromancer. The reason i have selected necromancer is mostly due to the pet. You will get three different types of pets to use as you level dps,caster and the tank pet. The pets each do handle the role they are for very well and makes soloing easy. I find using the melee and tank pets are the most used vs the caster pet. So other's might use a different pet mix for grinding etc..

* This guide can work along with most any other pet class. So you don't have to use just necromancer for starting out.

How to spec the necromancer as you level.

Once you get started leveling the necromancer you are wondering how to spec him. I have found leveling with letting the system place the points as you level does work very good. There is only two areas i changed as i leveled but mostly these changes was due to how i played. I would say adding 3 points into (Improved Soul Purge- Heals you for 15% of damage done on top of normal effect.If you solo alot or pvp using the improved soul purge helps alot but is a choice you can make and try out The other change is i found myself never using the caster pet so i saved the three points i could have used on boosting that pet for something else. The default build system gives you is the gravelord basicly necromancer . Also if you understand the class good and how to spec go for what works for you. You can also try things out as you level to see what works for your playing style. You just will have to pay the fee to clear skills from the class trainer.

You got a decent level necromancer now and wanna level with little problems.

If you are just out killing and not following quest this section should give you the info you might need. When using your pet alone exp farming it is best to tag one first allow pet to get aggro . Then if you feel safe with going for more mobs tag whatever one and besure to have pet get aggro. Soon as pet is on the next target besure to cast soul purge this will heal the pet. I would only fight more then a few mobs at once depending on your gear and level of necromancer. If you find yourself getting alot of damage on pulls this would be where improved soul purge helps out besides pvp.
Once you feel good with using the tank pet and understand tagging more then one mob to grind exp leveling gets supper easy. If your needing coins the side effect to getting more mobs more drops. You can sell to vendors or other players then just repeat this step to boost your funds. In matter of no time funds will be better depending if you do anything else for getting coins.

I went with using a pet class due to making leveling easier for starting out. The reason i did that is because some time its just hard getting groups to level up with. So in using a pet class like necromancer offers you help in grinding alone. Once you truly understand your class with or without pets leveling ..etc just gets easy.

This was just a simple basic guide to offer you some starting out tips or maybe something helpful to help you out with. I'm going to try adding more guides down the road with a bit more detail or more basic for easier understanding !
