Identifying Ingredients

The green gem is an emerald.
The red gem is a ruby.
The eye is that of a cyclops.
The weird man-plant is a mandrake.
The green skinny bottle is kraken blood.
The thick purple bottle is snake venom.

The recipes

Air drawing: Emerald, Mandrake, Venom.

Conductor: Emerald, Mandrake, Blood.

Fireball: Ruby, Eye, Blood.

Giant: Emerald, Eye, Venom.

Puppeteer: Ruby, Mandrake, Blood.

Reanimator: Ruby, Eye, Venom.

Transmute: Emerald, Eye, Venom.

Weightless: Ruby, Mandrake, Venom.

How to systematically unlock all spells

First, we need to set up an order to the ingredient types. This will be
1: potions.
2: gems.
3: oddities.

Now we do every combination of ingredients. This will be done by using the letter R for the rightmost ingredient on the pedestal and L for the Leftmost. Remember: potions, gems, oddities.

The combo LLR would be the leftmost potion, the leftmost gem, and the rightmost oddity.

Just do this order:

LLL LLR LRL LRR RLL RLR RRL RRR

If you know how to count in binary, it will be easy to remember if
L = 0
R = 1

Hints to secrets

1: Pick up that strange little short stick next to the skull, also, what if you tap the skull with the stick's hilt? Wait, are those apples?

2: These weird people and giant people are peeking in at you! Hey, there's a crossbow to the left of the pot...

3: See those multicolored plates to the right of your desk? That's called a xylophone and there are some suspicious globes next to it...

4: Look under your desk, there's a trumpet and a strange globe that matches the ones next to the xylophone...

5: What's through that door over there? It may be hard to get back...

6: The crossbow looks neat! Let's shoot stuff! Huh? I shot something and it lit up the room and made a buzzing noise followed by strange symbols appearing on the walls...

7: You can bring your spells to every place other than behind that strange door...

8: That cage beside the window seems... fragile...

9: That suit of armor's face just makes me want to throw a barrel at him or shoot him with the crossbow or something. Same for the face to the left of the armor.

10: Do you know what Troll Mode does? Activate it, take off your headset, and look at the monitor. This hint does not apply if you have no keyboard and mouse. You probably guessed what happens.

If you have made some progress on secret #5, then read this text:
You can see so much from atop those towers! What if you took that crossbow and shot at those knights... Just remember to one-shot them or they will PaThFiNd To yOu!

Once you have found the correct order for the symbols for secret #6, read this:
So you've found the letters? Where else can you input letters? Ooh, the xylophone! By the way, here's a hint: Look at the walls! Oh, also, have you seen Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit?

Once you have fully completed all of secret #5, read this:
That cylinder that's now on your desk looks fancy! Flip it over and throw something! (Other than the cylinder itself)

Spell secrets!

Did you know that the drawings made from Air Drawing are physical objects?

Put on the puppeteer spell, pick up the crossbow, and push the crossbow's button!
Or you can pick up the object mentioned in hint #1.
