Using HLDJ to play music in Pirates, Vikings, & Knights II .

1. Getting started

First off you must download HlDJ program from here: http://www.hldj.org/downloads.html. Then unpack it wherever you want.
ADDITIONAL NOTE: if you use SSD drive instead of HDD, HLDJ might not work, not sure why yet.

2. Configuration

Start HLDJ exe. Now you need to choose game directory where your game has been installed:
for D drive the path should be D:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\pirates, vikings and knights ii\pvkii.
for C drive the path should be C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\pirates, vikings and knights ii\pvkii.
Now the most important part is choosing right Game Audio Directory in Advanced Options on the bottom of the window. Enable :"Use Alternate Game Audio Directory" and find sdkbase_pvkii folder.
for D drive the path should be D:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\pirates, vikings and knights ii\sdkbase_pvkii.
for C drive the path should be C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\pirates, vikings and knights ii\sdkbase_pvkii.
Save with ok and you're done. You gonna also need to assign some key to play audio in game, twice (first time during first start of hldj and then second during game setup), use the same both times, I use "P".

3. Converting audio files

Now you need to convert your audio files (mp3s) to format accepted by HLDJ. Simply put all of your music to one "input" folder and press start .The important part of this process is setting engine to CS:GO instead of Source, your music gonna play uber fast if you'll choose source :/ I would also HIGHLY recommend setting converted audio volume to 10 or even 5%.
ADDITIONAL NOTE: If you want, before conversion you can adjust the volume of all of your mp3s to common level with MP3Gain, that you can download from here: http://mp3gain.sourceforge.net/download.php

4. Using HLDJ ingame.

Now go the "the main window" of HLDJ, choose your game (game profile) and press start. It should automatically open steam and start PVK II. Now join/start a server, open console by pressing ~, and type "la". You gonna get list of your music with number assigned to each track. Type a song number in a console and then ingame press key assigned to playing music.
ADDITIONAL NOTE: Make sure that you enabled "console" in options/keyboard/advanced/enable console

well if you have both ssd and hdd try to install pvk on hdd it should work after it, or use this program instead: https://store.steampowered.com/app/629520/Soundpad/

damn and thats the problem, for some reason hldj doesnt work if you have your game on ssd :/
