Freddi Fish 5: The Case of the Creature of Coral Cove - Demo Version Walkthrough (On-Going)

In this Guide, I will walk you through on the Demo Version of Freddi Fish 5: The Case of the Creature of Coral Cove and how to order the Retail Version.

(NOTE: This is the Final Freddi Fish Adventure game to use the Scumm Engine.)

1. Retail Version Story - Coral Cove Monster

On their way to Coral Cove Park, Freddi and Luther run into a large mob of citizens (Earl, Donna, Still One-Jug Short, Kit Craftsman, Marge, and Kipper) and the park's developer Marty Sardini, who are both angry and yet terrified of the sea monster supposedly terrorizing the park. Freddi and Luther decide to investigate.

2. Walkthroughs Guide - Demo Version

As the Demo begins, head right to where the mob is & you'll run into a large mob of citizens (Earl, Donna, Still One-Jug Short, Kit Craftsman, Marge, and Kipper) and the park's developer Marty Sardini, who are both angry and yet terrified of the sea monster supposedly terrorizing the park. Luther isn't sure if there is a Sea Monster that he and Freddi will run into but Freddi reminds Luther that this is only the Demo Version & they won't be able to talk to it until you buy the Regular Game.

After that scene, you'll reach the enterance to Coral Cove Park but you can't go in. Officer Beverly will tell you that no one can enter the park under Mayor Marlin's orders but Freddi tells her that they're here to help, so your only option is to get a Permission Slip signed by Mayor Marlin himself. After you get the form, you can't go left because this is the demo, but you can go right until you reach the crossing, from the crossing, you can't go up because this is the demo, so head left until you reach Gil Barker's Twin Sister: Gillian Barker. You can use the Purple Sea Urchin to buy the Planktos if you want even though you can't use it (which will be covered in the Full Version of the game at a later date), then head into Marlin's office and talk to the fin stylist; Clyde.

In order to speak to the Mayor, he will need his favorite number Fin-Pic which is randomized for each Walkthrough in both the Demo & Retail version, after that, you'll get the key ring to Clyde's barbershop. The lock to Clyde's barbershop is also Randomized for each walkthrough in both Retail and Demo Versions of the game. After you're done talking, head outside, then head left twice until you reach Clyde's barabershop which is locked, What you need to do is use the Key Ring on that Clyde gave you to open the door. The Correct Key to open the Trunk The Key on the Key Ring must match the lock on door in order to get the Fin-Pic. Once inside the shop, hang the keys on the wall, then select the correct Fin-Pic & backtrack to the Marlin's office & give the Correct Fin-Pic to Clyde. After that you can give the Permission Slip to Marlin and he'll sign it for you. Once the form is signed, head back to enterance of Coral Cove Park & give the Signed Permission Slip to Officer Beverly. She'll allow you to enter Coral Cove Park but this is where the Demo Version ends. Not to worry, you'll be able to see Freddi & Luther again soon.

1. Create a new Folder on your C Drive and Name it: "HEGames".

5. Create a New Folder in your HEGames Folder, then Name it "Freddi5Demo".

6. Copy the Freddi Fish 5: The Case of the Creature of Coral Cove Demo Files to your Freddi5Demo Folder on your Hard Drive.

7. Run the ScummVM Installer & follow the instructions shown.

9. Open ScummVM
10. Select "ADD GAME"
