@Sky_walker Yes, it tends to split the ship in two if you hit under the part the ship(s) have no torpedo defence. If you use the correct setting when using a torpedo, one fish could sink a ship if you hit on were it hurts. P.s this could not be the case in this game though, at times, it's all about luck if one fish would take it down.

Is there any advantage to hitting the ship deep below the surface level, rather than just setting the torpedo depth to 1 meter?

@Mr Hat and Clogs
Nope I think it works like a charm

Do you know the draught for the V-Class Destroyer?

The NA1 ships are not 12,274 ton, they are 2,274 tons. I don't know why the recognition card has that misprint, but if you check after action reports, you only get 2 tons credit in your tonnage sunk total. Compare the recognition card data for length/width/draft with a Bell, and you realize how small they are.

Is depth still busted?

I've seen ships with deep draughts but this list is obsolete atm. In any case, no, 1.5m is not the limiting number, there are deep draughts when in VERY calm seas and only on some of the ships (less than before it seems). When the seas are pretty heavy the damn boat will go up and down, that's when you can't rely on high numbers at all.

And I'm not making things up, yesterday I sank one of the big freighters using 3'5m of depth and enjoying the lightning-fast flooding.

@XallZall yeah, atm its kinda pointless to try to hit something below 1.5 (seems depth is something to still be implemented) but once it's properly there the numbers in this guide will probably be accurate =)

I think this is a bug because I can only hit at 1.5 2 max at most times, anything else goes under.

It's a table of numbers and proper nouns, in english.
My guide is in italian.
I guess you'll understand what's the point.
