Intro
Introduction to this batch file.
This batch file will help you back up your steam save game files quickly.
It will also restore the backups for you.
Since making the batch file for each game that steam has would be impossible.
I went ahead and just made it backup all the common locations that has save game files.
The backup could be big depending on what you have in the folders that will be backed up and how many games you have installed.
Since this batch file will be backing up all the folders that contain save game files it will also back up whatever else is in the folder.
For example this batch file backs up the Documents folder. The Documents folder is used by a lot of programs and games. So this folder can be almost any size.
So when backing up make sure you have enough drive space.
To be safe and this is just an estimate have at least 100 GB free or more. Since everyone's PC setup is different and peoples in common folders will be different in size, this is what I suggest. Your's could be bigger or a lot smaller. It all depends on what you got in the folders that are to be backed up.

How to use.
Unzip the batch file with any zip program. Right click on the zip file and choose Extract to Steam Games Save Files. Place the folder on the root of the internal/external hard drive or flash drive. If it's not on the root of the drive it might cause problems with the 254 character length. Your backups will be placed in the same folder as the batch file.

When you run the batch file it will give you a menu to chose from.
Chose 1 through 6 to back up the folder(s) you want to backup.
Chose 7 to 12 to restore the folder(s) that you have backed up already.

Troubleshooting
If you run into any errors like insufficient memory. It is usually the problem with the folder that the batch file is in, if it's not on the root of the drive. If it's not on the root of the drive or the folder don't have a short name you can run into insufficient memory error because the path names are getting longer then 254 characters. So to avoid any problems keep the batch file in the folder it was unzip to and on the root of the drive. So it should be like this, X:\Saved games (where x is the drive letter you put the folder on to).
F.A.Q.
What OS's does this work with?
