Food Chain Magnate: The Ketchup Mechanism & Other Ideas

Beskrivelse
"Chef! Some of our guests are asking for ketchup. Do we have any?" "We don't serve ketchup in this company." "Also they are asking whether the restaurant will expand anytime soon? There's a restaurant in the new quarter and with all the roadwork lately, it is getting a lot of traffic." "Can't you see I am working on my new masterpiece? How can I concentrate like this? I need that Michelin star! And this new sushi dish is just the thing. Or maybe if I combine kimchi with ice cream..." "But chef. Your guests are not asking for fancy stuff; they want ketchup and coffee. And better decorations. And a new menu." "Get out of my kitchen. Now!"

The Ketchup Mechanism & Other Ideas is an expansion for Food Chain Magnate.

Includes:
-a new set of milestones that completely changes strategic options
-coffee and barista's: places where people stop on the way to get food
-new districts with different types of buildings
-lobbyists that can place parks and new roads
-new types of food: kimchi, sushi & noodles
-new marketing types: mass marketeers, rural marketeers and gourmet food critics
-new employees: French fries; movie stars and working the night shift
-hard choices
-materials to play with 6 players
-ketchup!

I started this mod using Olsen's mod as a base : https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=945952441

Modules are easily added during setup using the Memory Bags that I have setup for each of the new modules. Simply hit the "Place" button to put all the added module elements onto the table space in the area that that should go. If you don't want to use that module simply hit the "Recall" button and it will pull those added components back into the module bag.

I didn't have time to test everything with this mod. So take a look at this and let me know if you run into any errors or see any improvements that I could make.

For food component you need to add raw inside url (ex. pastebin.com/raw/UkF089PG) .

Hi, wanted you know that your mod has been added to my collection: Board Game Geek - BGG - May 2020 - Best Mod for each of the Top 500 Rated Games. Collection here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2086043930

The collection used this priority system:

1. Mod's Files Availability: Mod with all/most files still available for download
2. Feature completeness: Mod with greatest inclusion of expansions and/or promos available for the board game title
2. Scripting: Mod with scripting that most reduces work in setup/play for players
3. Component Quality: Mod with the best visuals/usability in terms of component quality
4. Table Setup/Ambiance: Mod with the best immersion with table, background, and other modeling.

Please also note that a mod that makes selection for this list very well could be one in which the mod author borrowed the majority of assets from another workshop listing, so full thanks to all who worked on a mod.

Thanks for your hard work!

No problem - I can figure out a way to work it out if I play a six player game anyway.

Nope, that's scripting that I don't know how to do. Manual setup is your only option.

Is there a way to add a button to set up the game for six players? By adding the tiles and turn order track it looks like the appropriate tiles get added, but I cannot see a way to set up the 4x6 layout for six players?

Apologies if this is obvious and I am overlooking it?

Fixed the image file. The Player number button can be moved by moving the city tile bag. After Setup just move the bag or delete it if you are not playing with the lobbyist module that can add more map tiles.

This link has failed.
The player number button is too close to the main board.
Will you fix it?
Thank you so much!
