voice cut off fix

Original rage game has an issue where dialogue gets cut short.

Turn off texture detail in the in-game settings and profit.

I searched for solutions online and found nothing.... Have a nice day

When I play the game at 1280 x 720p low settings, 2X AA, large cache and the audio never cuts short.

Some of these older games were not developed with 1440p or 4k in mind and as far as I am concerned they don't look right higher than 900p.

I picked up a copy of the game for my Xbox one x because the audio cutting out killed the game for me. After playing at 720p on the console for a while I was ready to aim with a mouse again.

The only launch options I am using are as follows, to skip the intro videos and to fix the broken mouse in the menu.

I keep my xbox controller in front of me so I can drive with that instead of the KB+M


60fps on my 1440p 144hz feels smooth enough without vsync or gsync

I think this game is under rated and its a shame that it was never fixed on pc. At least they could've made a "console settings mode" and stripped out the video options the way it is on console so that the game could just be played and not fixed by everyone who just wants to give it a play through.

So I bought RAGE 2 and I decided to replay RAGE but I'm actually having issues with footsteps being out of sync and my vehicle audio cutting out all the time. I guess there's no fix for that either.
