Hades Star Basic Guide
De Mizuno
Welcome to Jayden's "Hades Star Basic Guide", this guide will help you learn many of the basic components of this games such as the gamemodes that are in this game. The main gamemodes that you will be learning are yellow stars and red stars. The white and blue stars will only be the scratch of the surface. Others things you will be learning about is economy and ships. This game has many economy stuff included and the only way to earn credits are either from blue stars and planets. Transports carry shipments to help you earn credits but waste hydro just like fuel which is why miners come in. They mine asteroid fields to collect hydro for your system. Another and last important thing to summarize this all up is battleships. They will be important for fighting off Cerberus ships and protect your ships during red star.

Yellow Stars
Planets
Yellow Stars are the main place where you will be on every time you log onto the game. Yellow stars is the place that includes planets which can shipments. These shipments earn you credits and many sometimes have crystal shipments which are kind of rare. You can carry shipments from different planets and store up to two times it's shown capacity unless the shipment is going to the planet where you are storing the shipment which earns you credits instead of storing it.

Here is a example of a planet storing double of it's shown capacity

Planets can even store arts as shown above. Have leftover arts? Store them! The side effect of storing more than one arts is that it doesn't produce shipments. It's best that you store arts on your starter planet and mainly the desert one because of it's low credit yield or the amount of credits you get per shipment

But the only thing to make these all happens are transports. Transports can be made at the shipyard station this shipyard station. But the shipyard can
not only make transports but make battleships and miners. All these three ships are important since battleships kill the Cerberus ships and miners collect the hydro needed for activating modules and moving battleships and transports. Hydro is basically like a car without fuel, hydrogen is the most important resource in this game. Shipyards are also in charge of upgrading the ships to different types of level

Income
Income is gonna be the one of the most important aspects of the game. Without income you wouldn't be able to afford planet upgrades, modules and upgrades to stations. Their are many ways to boost your income or even increase the income even more and learn what types of planets give you the best credit yield per shipment.

First to the start off the best planets are ice, gas and terran planets. These planets can reach up to tier 4 which can hold high amounts of shipments and give you high yield per shipment. Here is an example of one of these planet.

But planets are not the only factors in your income. It's your transports! There are modules which can boost shipment earnings. These modules can boost from 5% to even 30%! These numbers may sound small but will really benefit you in the long term.

This trade burst module as shown above can improve 24% of your earnings! This is not the only type of module that exist. Problem is if you even fit a lot of these modules that give you a ton of percentage earnings the amount of hydro per AU will add up and you will need to upgrade your ships to fit in more modules which waste more hydro. So make sure to think ahead if you have enough hydro so you don't have a hydro issue which many have.

Another great module is called shipment drone. It is automated shipment drone that collects shipments and does shipments for you. The side effect is that it requires a warp lane to move to different sectors and do shipments for you. Plus warp lanes are very expensive and can cost up to 300k for your 4th one.

Then a screenshot of a warp lane

Another great income making that is not a module nor a transport but a trade station. A trade station can hold arts and shipments like a planet expect it can be placed anywhere! Trade stations can give you a extra boost in income just like a extra planet.

Another way you can earn credits is Blue Star. Blue star is a PVP with 5 players and a circle that slowly becomes smaller. If you go into the center of the star's sector you start to take damage. If your the last one to survive then you earn credits and hydro. If you lose the Blue Star then you only get 90% of your ship back. You can learn more about Blue Stars and strategy in the Blue Stars category. You can also earn credits in Red Star which you can also learn more in the Red Star category.

That wraps up the Yellow Star category I hope you learned something new about your system!
Red Stars
Red Stars
Red Stars are important for unlocking modules. The only way to unlock modules is by going into a Red Star, fight some ships then collect the artifacts that are located on the planet. Once your done loading it you go back to your system to research it. Every time the research is done it gives you blueprints and when you have enough blueprints you can either unlock or upgrade it. The blueprint amount needed to upgrade a module does increase as you upgrade it. The only way to access Red Star is with the Red Star station which will find a Red Star for you and once it's done searching you can jump your ships in.

You also only have 15 minutes before the stars explode which means you gotta have to plan ahead. Any ships that is left behind without the sanctuary module will be lost forever. Here is how the Red Star system looks like.

In a red star there will be a lot of PVP against Cerberus ships. Others corp mates or random players can assist with these fights.

If you are wondering the best ways to fight against those enemy ships with 100k HP or called a Colo for short is to use laser and battery combined. Laser is best choice for these ships since it ramps up it's damage to be two times higher then battery. It's recommended you have one laser and two batteries since if your doing normal combats with ships that only have 4k HP you can easily be destroyed by small ships since the time it takes for laser to ramp up is 45 second and the lowest damage is 180 unless you upgraded the laser of course.

You can also earn influence from Red Stars but you need to meet the optimal activity by destroying ships, which is the only way to raise the optimal activity bar.

Planets
In red stars there are also planets which hold artifacts. These artifacts can be research or salvaged to earn credits and hydro. Artifacts can even earn you XP which can help you level up. These artifacts can also be stored on your planets back in the yellow star. It also takes time to load up these artifacts depending the on the level. Artifacts can take up to 30-2 mins depending on the level. These artifacts also have tons or how much space it takes. Rs5 usually takes 8 tons and so on.

Here is planet that has enemies around it.

Here is a research station and a station researching artifacts.

Before the 15 minutes of a red star is over you must send your ships back to the jump gate in time before it supernova and lose your ships

Hope you learned something new about Red Stars!
Blue Stars
Blue Stars
Blue stars is a 5 player PVP where you have to fight enemies and try to avoid combat as much as possible until the circle get's so small you have to go into the star's sector which takes you damage and EMP yourself in the middle so you can stay longer and not crash yourself into the wall of death.
The Blue Star station is the place where you can build past battleships that was used and the place where you send your ship to the star

This is how the blue star system looks.

There is also combat with ships you have to fight. It's best you try to avoid combat to keep your HP for the final circle. Only engage in combat when necessary.

You also want to find a asteroid that is closest to the sector so that the circle doesn't get you and you don't have to go into the middle of the sector.

Here is an image during the final circle.

Income
You can also earn credits and hydro. You can earn the amount of credits it costs to build your battleship. If you lose you only earn 90% of the ships value back. You also earn blue shards. These blue shards can be used for shipment relay. Shipment relay is also a automated shipment and takes about 15 minutes for each shipment to be done. This shipment relay requires blue shards which is earned from Blue Star

If you want the most effect way to earn hydro is by putting sanctuary on the ship and play BLS to earn hydro.

Hope you learned something new about Blue Stars!
White Stars
White Stars
White Stars is a place where you can have a 5v5 10v10 and even a 15v15 fights. These fights are usually against corporation for relics. These relics can boost the level of the corp and have bonuses such as 14% increase on amount of blueprints, income and basically everything you get in a artifact every time you do a private Red Star. Relics also increase the amount of space you can have in a corporation which is pretty useful. It's best you use Discord to navigate your team and discuss plans to win in White Star.

Just like in Red Stars, White Stars also have a activity meter such as bringing home relics or fighting and collecting hydro which all adds up for the reward you will get after the White Star event ends.

Usually the strategy is to first defend the area you will be using to mine asteroids and move transports with battleships. It's best that you have the correct modules and plans to make the plan execute perfectly.

The reason why we mine hydro is that every time hydro is deposited onto a planet it speeds up relic production which where transports can pick up the relics (each relic is 4 tons) and bring it back to jump gate safely.

The other side of the enemies also do the same.

Then lastly the dangerous part of this is to bring back all of the transports back home safely

Hope you learned something new about White Stars!

Brought a tear to my eye. Thank you for this masterpiece, I don't know what I would do without it.

In red stars section you called attacking Cereberus ships PVP. PVP means player versus player which is not what happens in red stars. You should change that to PVE since they are Co-op with players helping each other to clear the map instead. Also you stated the only way to gain influence is by destroying ships is not accurate. You also gain progress points by the number of artifacats collected off the planets and brought back home safely. If you do not earn enough progress during a red star you can actually lose influence as well. Otherwise a good starter guide for those players who are truly new to the game. Thanks.

Hello there. I just read your guide. I will now post some helpful things in the spirit that you can make a better guide. First of all in the income section you mention trade stations. While it is possible to store artifacts on them players never ever want to because the shipments they generate are so much higher credit wise then even on the best and furthest planets. Also in income you mention Warp Lanes. Warp Lanes are critical. They save you tons of hydro since you need only activate them one time a day and the only hydro expensive is from a planet to a start gate and again from the end gate to the next planet in the chain.
