Intro
Hello People.

I always loved the Bronco .44 and was my Number 1 primary, I never did a Heist without it.
But even though it has a massive Damage Output it never really was enough to be a weapon equal to a primary.
So I did some testing, respec'd my Skilltree over and over again and tried to make the class both defensive AND aggressive.
Now this is the build that came out after all this.

Broncolicous[www.pd2skills.info]
The Bronco .44
Its the best Weapon ever and you shouldn't use anything else.
The Bronco .44 is a secondary unlocked after you reach Reputation Level 6 and based on his real life counterpart the Taurus Raging Bull Model 444. It is a very reliable sidearm, because of its high overall stats and still very helpful in later difficulties, even Overkill.

Lets talk about its stats.

  • Clip size 6
  • Total Ammo 30
  • Damage 55
  • Accuracy 12
  • Stability 3
  • Concealment 26
  • Threat 24

Sadly, the Bronco .44 has a very small ammo pool, only having 5 Full magazines.
It's Accuracy is not as high as many people think, it's actually equal to most of the Assault Rifles, but because of its Firing Rate most people don't realize it.
The Stabilty is pretty bad actually, but again mostly people don't realize it because of its Firing Rate.
It has the second highest One-Bullet-Damage in PAYDAY 2, right after the M308 and is able , even without attachments, to One-Shot weak to medium enemies.
The Science of Stats ( UNDER CONSTRUCTION )
I think by now you all know what my point is, the Bronco will do an incredible amount of damage and will be more accurate than most other guns.
So i thought to make it clear I added this section showing you how the Bronco slowly evolves into the gun you want it to be, and what it is making it evolving.

First: A simple Table

Base
Mod
Skill
Total
Damage
55
+10
+33
98
Accuracy
12
+4
+6
22
Stability
3
+11
+6

[}}=====UNDER=CONSTRUCTION====={{]

Pretty awesome, right?
Now lets explain what made the stats go up so high.
Firstly you'll have to know in what order the stats get calculated.
(Base + Mod) * Skill in percent = Total
Percents will be turned into numbers.
+10% = * 1.10 -10% = * 0.90
If the Total turns out to not be an odd number it will be rounded
Total = 10,250 ~ 10 Total = 10.750 ~ 11
If there are 2 Skills that increase a certain skill, only the higher one seems to apply (see: Accuracy)

Now, lets start

Damage
Things that increase this stat:
  • Attachments: Aggressor (+10)
  • Skills: Gunslinger Aced (+50%)
(55+10) * 1.50 = 97.5 ~ 98 Special Unit: 97.5 * 1.05 = 102.375 ~ 102 Marked Special: 97.5 * 1.20 = 117 Headshot: ??? (Need the actual extra damage headshots do)

Accuracy
Things that increase this stat:
  • Attachments: Aggressor (+4)
  • Skills:
    • Equilibrium (+10%)
    • Sharpshooter (+50%)
The accuracy seems to be calculated in a different weird way, I'm not sure, lets just go.
(12 * 0.5) + 4 + 12
So if you find another way to calculate it, or if I just effd up, tell me.

Stability
Things that increase this stat:
  • Attachments
    • Aggressor (+5,5)*
    • Ergo Wooden Grip (+3.5)*
    • Slimline (+3)
      * If you equip these 2 together you get a mod boost of 9, try it.
  • Skills
    • Leadership (+50%)
    • Technician Tier Bonus (+10%)
(3+ 5,5 + 3,5 + 3) * 1.5 = 22.5 WRONG
Attachments
Grip
  • Ergo Wooden Grip
    • Stability +3
Slide
  • Aggressor
    • Damage +10
    • Accuracy +4
    • Stabilty +5
    • Concealment +3
  • Pocket Surprise
    • Accuracy -4
    • Stabilty -3
    • Concealment +3
  • Ventilated
    • Damage +5
    • Accuracy -2
    • Stabilty +3
    • Concealment -3
    • Threat +10

    • Accuracy +6
    • Stabilty +9
    • Concealment -3
Grip
  • Slimline
    • Stability +3
    • Concealment +1

The Bronco .44 only has 3 Attachment Slots and a total of 6 available Attachments.
It's the one of the very few weapons in the game that doesn't have a silencer attachement, which makes it very bad for stealthy Heists.
Most of the Attachments are there to improve the otherwise poor Stability of the Bronco .44, or increase the Accuracy to make it better at a higher range.

Because we want the Damage, Stability and Accuracy to be as high as possible we will use the following Attachments for the build:
  • Ergo Wooden Grip
  • Aggressor
  • Slimline
The Build: How to use it
This Build is made to be aggresive and defensive, the damage output relies mostly on the Skill ''Gunslinger'' and the Tier 4 Bonus of the Technician, these are crucial for this build.
Note: The C4 skills can be replaced with the Sentry skills if you feel like it, it's up to you what you like more.

What you need
  • A Weak or Medium Armor
  • The Bronco .44 (duh)
  • Good Aim

How to play...

Aggressive
The high Speed that you get through this build and the Damage of the Bronco makes you perfect for running out, killing people and running back to cover.

Tips:
  • Watch out for your Health! Your Armor is only there to not make you die instantly!

  • If your Armor is down: RUN! You don't have much health, so watch out!

Defensive
The incredible accuracy of your Bronco will make you an awesome Sniper, on the ''Bridge-Escape'' you can easily kill soldiers on the other side of the bridge.

So wait your telling me that my 500 damage shotgun blasts... have actually been doing 1000 damage? holy shit.
Spooky Boo~ky Nov 12, 2013 @ 9:48am
From what I've seen from testing various weapons out, the headshot multiplier basically doubles the damage you normally would have done with just a body shot alone. If you have the bonus headshot damage from Technician, it changes the headshot multiplier to 2.25, which basically adds an extra 25% damage as the tier bonus states. For comparison, according to some stats that were found by some people, the Tan FBI have exactly 200 health. A bronco with the Aggressor and Gunslinger Aced will have 98 damage, which isn't enough to kill a tan even with a headshot as the final damage will be 196. If you have the technician bonus, however, the final damage will end up being 220.5, enough to kill a tan with a single headshot.
Just some stuff to consider.

I rather use my silenced deagle as i get 86 damage (which one-shots non-specials) and I get the 28% pierce chance for dozers and such.
Really nice guide tho, had fun reading it. GJ :balloonicorn:
