A Starship replica.

Entry, Descent, and Landing
This is if you have Air Density Mod and you're coming in hot (as in 1000+m/s hot).

1. If you're coming in from a high angle, skip to the part where the ship explodes.
   
2. Raise fins to reentry configuration with [K].
   
3. Aim the black side roughly in the direction of travel, or nose down a bit if you're coming in shallow for a better reentry. The descent camera is useful for this.
   
4. During reentry, do your level best to keep the nose pointing upwards and away from the ground. If the noise points towards the ground at high speed, you are almost certainly screwed.
   
5. Once you hit 500 metres altitude (ideally you should be in a slow fall) set the forward fins down with [L] and reorient the ship for landing. Don't forget to deploy the landing gear with [RAlt].

SpaceX's Starship spacecraft and Super Heavy rocket (collectively referred to as Starship) represent a fully reusable transportation system designed to carry both crew and cargo to Earth orbit, the Moon, Mars and beyond.

Starship will be the most powerful launch vehicle ever developed, with the ability to carry in excess of 100 metric tonnes to Earth orbit in a fully reusable configuration. Drawing on an extensive history of launch vehicle and engine development programs, SpaceX has been rapidly iterating on the design of Starship with orbital flight targeted for 2020 (ha ha).

Starship mk.1 was the first full-scale prototype. Originally intended for a 20km hop test, these plans were scrapped due to faults in the ship's construction, and shortly afterwards the vehicle was totaled after a catastrophic failure of the fuel tank during pressure testing.

The changes from the 2018 version include a stainless steel construction (replacing carbon-fibre composites) and separation of fins and landing gear.

This Starship is a total rebuild from the ground up with metal parts (now that I know how to use them). Most of the added block count went into the nosecone. And the RCS thrusters. And the detailing.
It will do things the previous replica could not even dream of.

1x scale. Far more accurate proportions this time, too.

Yet another solution for the scramjet problem is just not using steam for the landing engines (or RCS) to begin with.

I removed the freeze function because it was extra weight and parts.
When the booster is released, it will be possible to recover both stages without needing to freeze the Starship at all. See the Aegir Clipper.

Shiny stuff will come later. Probably along with the booster.
