Plains conservation guide (Floofs) [updated kavat information]

Welcome to my plains of eidolon conservation guide

In this guide I will be going over how to get your plains of eidolon floofs from conservation hunts in the plains. This will also include the standing rewards you get from the different captures.

Kuaka

The Kuaka Echo-lure can be bought from master Teasonai for 500 standing as well as the pheromones which can be bought for 100 standing each.

Plains Kuaka

This is the most common variant of the Kuaka. The Plains Kuaka floof needs 5 tags to be bought.

• Bad capture: 200 standing
  
• Good capture: 300 standing
  
• Perfect capture: 400 standing

Ashen Kuaka

This is a rare species of Kuaka however you shouldnt need to use the pheromones to find them. The Ashen Kuaka floof needs 5 tags to be bought.

• Bad capture: 300 standing
  
• Good capture: 450 standing
  
• Perfect capture: 600 standing

Ghost Kuaka

This is a very rare Kuaka and i would advise using a pheromone to find it. The Ghost Kuaka floof requires 5 tags to be bought.

• Bad capture: 600 standing
  
• Good capture: 900 standing
  
• Perfect capture: 1,200 standing

Condroc

The Condroc echo-lure can be bought from master Teasonai for 1,000 standing as well as the pheromones for which can be bought for 100 standing each.

Common Condroc

This, as the name implies, is the most common variant of the Condroc. The Common Condroc floof can be bought for 5 tags.

Common condroc can also be seen in groups around the plains which you can capture without having to call them.

• Bad capture: 400 standing
  
• Good capture: 600 standing
  
• Perfect capture: 800 standing

Rogue Condroc

This is a rare Condroc however I had a problem finding it without the pheromone so I would advise using it. The Rogue Condroc floof can be bought for 5 tags.

• Bad capture: 600 standing
  
• Good capture: 900 standing
  
• Perfect capture: 1,200 standing

Emperor Condroc

This is a very Condroc subspecies and i would advise using a pheromone to find it. The Emperor Condroc floof cost 5 tags to be bought.

• Bad capture: 900 standing
  
• Good capture: 1,350 standing
  
• Perfect capture: 1,800 standing

Mergoo

The Mergoo echo-lure can be bought from master Teasonai for 2,000 standing as well as the pheromones for 200 standing each.

Coastal Mergoo

This is the most common species of mergoo so no pheromone is needed. The Coastal Mergoo floof can be bought for 5 tags.

• Bad Capture: 600 standing
  
• Good capture: 900 standing
  
• Perfect Capture: 1,200 standing

Woodland Mergoo

This is a rare variant of the Mergoo but you shouldnt use a pheromone to find it. The Woodland Mergoo floof can be bought for 5 tags.

• Bad Capture: 1,200 standing
  
• Good Capture: 1,800 standing
  
• Perfect Capture: 2,400 standing

Splendid Mergoo

The Splendid Mergoo is a very rare variant of the Mergoo and you should use a pheromone to be able to capture it. The Splendid Mergoo floof can be bought for 5 tags

• Bad Capture: 1,800 standing
  
• Good Capture: 2,400 standing
  
• Perfect Capture: 3,600 standing

Vasca Kavat

The Vasca Kavat echo-lure can be bought from master Teasonai for 3,000 standing as well as the pheromones for 200 standing each.
Vasca Kavats can only be found at night time on the plains of eidolon

Osita Vasca Kavat

This is the most common variant of the Vasca Kavat which can also be found roaming around the plains at night. The floof cost is 5 tags like normal.

• Bad Capture: 250 standing

  Bau Vasca Kavat

  This is a rare variant of the Vasca Kavat. The floof cost is 5 tags like normal.
  
  Bau kavats were the hardest for me to find wandering around the wild at night in the plains. I only found one group of four walking around in a forested area on the north west side of the map.
  
  I could only get perfect captures with this type kavat.

  Nephil Vasca Kavat

  This is a very rare variant of the Vasca Kavat and I would advise using a pheromone to find the Kavat. The floof cost is 5 tags like normal.
  
  This, like the other two kavats, can be found wandering around at night. I personally found it in open areas on hillsides.
  
  Like the Bau kavat I could only get perfect captures even on the ones found walking around.

Emblem

Plains of Eidolon conservation emblem

To get this emblem you must get 1 tag of each subspecies from the Kuaka, Condroc and Mergoo. Once you have one of each tag you can trade them in as master Teasonai for the emblem which you can put on anything in the regalia section.

I found 2 nests of rogue condrocs in same spot at the rib cage on the ground below the gun tower just riding on my hoverboard.

Little hint for Hunters having trouble getting perfect capture; Use Ivara's sleep arrow (haven't tested equinox) and it has the same effect as the tranq rifle. Also works on Bolarolas
