Basics and Layout
So, first things first, we pick a style, there are several to choose from, like 1. RubRub style, which incorporates generic blocks and simple color palates. 2. maybe Rafer style is more your thing, using many triggers and pulses, and lots of slopes. 3. mid-generic levels are feature-worthy, yet still kinda generic and boring, but many players use this style. *cough* Danolex *cough*. 4. modern is easy and can be done easily with little skill, yet it may differ between other sub-categories of modern levels, some are just simple and solid-colored, while some have hundreds of triggers. And lastly 4. Simplistic (sometimes used in a movement called Levelution, a encouragement to build simple, feature-worthy levels), are similar to mid-generic and Rafer styles, and make up most of the features.

Now, creating layouts may be the most boring part of this, in my opinion. all it really is is taking simple block outlines, orbs, and portals and make a layout design. making layouts may take triggers, too.

Decorating
This is the most fun, but the step most players struggle with, including me with some levels, it's just hard to incorporate blocks and make them correspond with other blocks. Now, in the last step we talked about level designs, that section will now make use in this section. Now I will get more in-depth when i get more people viewing this guide, and maybe add pictures and videos. but enough explaining about my sad, lonely life.

Decorating Basics

Make sure color palates mix, like (Purple & Blue) (Red & Orange), but sometimes opposite colors mix, called Smart Palates, like (Purple & Yellow) (White & Black). I recommend starting out with a Mid-Generic level, without a bunch of triggers or blocks. Most featured levels have 10,000 to 60,000 blocks, now this may seem like a lot, along with 1-3 minutes, you ask "HoW dO I gEt 10,o0o BlOcKs iN 1 mInUtE!?" well, I know what you're thinking, no, spamming blocks will not answer this dilemma or get your level featured. Well luckily, to me, my block count goes up fast, but IDK about you. :IDKpog: But, I swear, I beg of you, DON'T OVER DECORATE *cough* me *cough*.

This is well decorated modern sub-category level, as you can see, it has a custom background and a custom ground. It also incorporates glow, which brings the level together. Note that it uses a smart palate, black and white. But it is a little over decorated, using too many blocks can make the level seem repetitive, boring, too solid, and even laggy. Different Styles

There's many styles to choose from, but there may only be one your comfortable with, once I thought I would only be good at modern, but I tried something different, and I'm actually pretty proud of it, here it is down here.

Here's the main styles you can choose from!
  • Simplistic - not much detail, usually makes up most of the features.
  • Core - some might say over-decorating, it usually is a mess...
  • Tech - Solid blocks, usually future - esc details.
  • Glow - usually has the same blocks as simplistic, but with, well, glow.
  • Modern - see next section.

Modern Levels

Here's a little extra section which, if you want to create a modern level, will be of importance to you. Here are some categories within the modern genre:
  • Solid - Uses a repeating color scheme
  • Detailed - Uniquely different every section
  • Themed - Centered around an art style, Usually has Pixel Art
  • Tiny - Very simple Pixel Art and color schemes, usually rated easy - hard
  • Futuristic - A fairly simple design, lots of squares and circles, and usually a repeating color scheme of Blue, Purple, Red, and metal - like colors (grey, black, etc.).
Gameplay

i need to know how to make make enjoyable gameplay
So, this starts with making a simple layout, the actual level with only block outlines, orbs and pads, and sometimes triggers. But, as stated in the comment, making enjoyable layouts is harder. First, you need to pick a type of layout: Memory is based on levels that are easy to recognize and get used to, and Sight - Read levels, which are usually incorporated in demons, and aren't very fun to play. I recommend to use layouts with easy patterns that can be memorized.
--- Here are some do and don'ts ---
  • Don't - create repetitive sections
  • Do - create unique and extrovert sections
  • Don't - create annoying, hard sections
  • Do - use slopes to create a complicated design
  • Don't - use too many orbs or pads, and don't make random auto sections
  • Do - use unique block outline patterns, like floating blocks or sloped blocks
Finish
So, I hope you found this useful, and remember, I will edit this later. thank you for reading! Hope I see your levels get featured!

This is sort of wrong, you can add auto parts to your level, like shinigami for example has a lot of auto parts.
