This should be a walkthrough to help you play with mods without any issues. It works for servers / multiplayer games you create and single player. If you join a server you don't really have control over or a server your friend has made, they may need to type this command in too.
1 - Open the L4D2 console
2 - Type in sv_consistency 0
3 - Load up a campaign and see if it works
4 - Your game and any servers you create should hopefully have no issues running mods.
If you do not know how to open the dev console for commands, this link should explain it:

Since I did this I have been able to load into games with all my mods activated, I have donald duck ripping my face off, goofy constricting me with his tongue and steroid junkie mickey mouse chucking concrete towards my face. If it doesn't help I apologise but I don't know what else can be done.
