Carro Armato Celere Sahariano (cruiser tank M16/43)

Il carro armato celere sahariano fu un prototipo di carro armato incrociatore portato avanti dal Regno d'Italia tra il 1941 e il 1943.
Fu progettato come risposta al Cruiser Mk III e poi al Mk VI Crusader e pensato specificamente per operare in ambiente desertico (la Libia). Era armato con un pezzo da 47 mm e due mitragliatrici, e poteva raggiungere i 60 Km/h.


Here is my new build, a legendary italian tank prototype, the carro armato celere sahariano, basically a cruise tank, very fast and well armored, it was simple and had christie suspensions, definitely a step in the right direction for italian tank design, too bad it was canceled.
Since its my first serious tank its quite special for me

p.s. this is the prototype version, i found out the production version would have had a bigger gun (and different turret, probably with a cupola and a machine gun) as well as antennas and other gadgets
