Crop Steam and Discord Avatars

This guide provides a website for super easy avatar cropping for any social media.

Step 1

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Find an image you'd like to crop into an avatar and save it to your computer.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Once you have your image, visit avatarcropper.com

Step 2

Once the website loads, click open file.

This will allow you to choose which image you want to crop into an avatar.

Step 3

In the upper right corner of the website you will see various cropping settings. They're pretty self explanatory, so you should select the settings that are right for you.

Step 4

Simply drag the cropping window and resize it until you have the area you wish to use as an avatar selected.

Step 5

While selecting which part of the image you wish to crop for an avatar, you can see a real time example of what your avatar will look like at various sizes in the right corner of the website.

Step 6

Once you're happy with your crop, click the green render and save button to the right. It will give you an option to save your avatar as either a square or a circle. Select the one you want and click the save button. Your newly cropped avatar will be saved to your computer!
