Staves
In early game you can combine different metal bars with gems at Anvil to create staves. They are really effective and recommended to craft, because their damage is pretty good and mana costs are low. However, you can't craft some staves, because it depends on generated ores (Copper-Tin, Silver-Tungsten, Gold-Platinum), while better staves are crafted from alternatives (Diamond Staff is better than Ruby Staff). The better staff, the higher value of damage, knockback, mana cost, velocity (speed of bolt) and enemy pierced is.

Weak knockback
Uses 3 mana

Crafting:
- 10 Copper Bar
- 8 Amethyst

Notes:
- when your world has Tin, you need to craft
Topaz Staff instead of Amethyst Staff. (or better)

Wizard Hat

Wizard Hat is dropped by Tim, a really rare mob found in the Underground. The only reason I put this in Robe section is if it's worn with any of gem robe will give +10% magic critical strike chance as a set bonus (you can still put armor on Legs slot without breaking set).

If you're still updating this guide, you should add the Magic Hat, sold by the Travelling Vendor. Used with the robes it gives a +60 Mana Set bonus. :steamhappy:
