King's Heir: Rise to the Throne, 100% Achievement Guide, Collectable Locations and Full Video Walkthrough.

King's Heir: Rise to the Throne, 100% achievement guide, collectables locations and complete video walkthrough earning all achievements and showing all mini-game puzzle, hidden object game solutions and collectable locations.

Notes.

King's Heir: Rise to the Throne has a total of 18 Steam achievements, of these 4 are story related and the remaining 14 achievements are missable, as for completion time, this is in the region of 3-4 hours.

MAIN GAME.

• There are no achievements relating to difficulty in King's Heir: Rise to the Throne so select whichever suits your mood.

• While there is a tutorial on easier difficulties, there are no achievement relating to playing with or without the tutorial.

• There are no achievements relating to the cut scenes, watch or skip as you wish.

• You are free to skip the mini-game puzzles if you wish to do so as there is no achievement for completing them all without skipping, that said there are achievements for completing one mini-game in less than 30 seconds and another for completing the lockpick puzzle in the Alley without skipping (Puzzle #2 in my guide).

• As well as mini-game puzzles King's Heir: Rise to the Throne also has Fight Mini-Games (FMG), there are 5 of these in the main game and a further 2 in the bonus chapter. There are 3 achievements relating to the FMG puzzles, one is earned for completing the first FMG in the main game without using a skip, another is earned for completing an FMG without making a mistake and the final achievement is earned for completing the final FMG in the main game without using a skip.

• Make sure to grab all 29 Royal Coins and 5 Animal collectables in the main game and the 11 Royal Coins in the bonus chapter, a full list of the locations of all the collectables can be found in the three collectables related chapters of this guide and also my video walkthrough also shows all collectable locations.
  
  There is one achievement for finding your first Royal Coin in the main game, another for finding 15 in the main game and another for collecting all 29 in the main game. There is also an achievement for collecting (clicking on) all 5 animals in the main game and there is just 1 achievement for collecting all 11 Royal Coins in the bonus chapter.

• As for the hint button in hidden object scenes, there is an achievement for completing 3 hidden object scenes in a row without using a hint and another for completing all the hidden object scenes in the main game without using a hint. As for the bonus chapter you are free to use hints if you wish.

• The most annoying achievement in the game is earned by completing a hidden object scene in less than 20 second, yes 20, for tips on earning this see my achievement guide below.

BONUS CHAPTER.

• There is just one specific achievement relating to the bonus chapter, which is earned for collecting all 11 collectables. On a final FYI the "Fast and Fierce" achievement can not be earned in the bonus chapter, only during one of the 11 scenes during the main game can it be unlocked.

Main Game Royal Coin Collectables.

In the main game there are a total of 29 Royal Coins to collect, these coins are blue and gold in colour, and fade in and out of the scene. Grabbing your first collectable will earn you the "Spare a Dime?" achievement, finding 15 will earn you the "Featherweight" achievement and locating all 29 will earn you the "A Bag of Coins" achievement.

In the main game there are a total of 5 animals to interact with (by clicking on them), some will squawk, others will run away when clicked on, click on all 5 and you will earn the "Pet Friendly" achievement. Be aware that unlike other collectables in King's Heir: Rise to the Throne, two of the animals are located within hidden object scenes.

Achievement Guide Part 1.

The achievements listed below are in order of which I earned them during my playthrough.

Please be aware that achievements relating to Fight Mini-Games, Mini-Game Puzzles and Hidden Object Scenes may well only unlock during the main game and not the bonus chapter. The "Fast and Fierce" achievement most definitely does not unlock in the bonus chapter.

	Spare a Dime?	Find the first Collectible. ***MISSABLE*** This achievement is earned for collecting the first of the 29 Royal Coin collectables during the main game. See the Main Game Royal Coin Collectables chapter in this guide for the locations of all 29.
	Duelist.	Finish the first Fight Minigame without using Skip. ***MISSABLE*** Fight Mini-Games take the form of dot to dot puzzles where you must join all the dots without going over the same line twice. The first of these puzzles takes place early in the game at the Forest Road, bridge side. Complete this puzzle without skipping and the achievement is yours. See video walkthrough part 1 @ 11:29 for further assistance.
	Knight.	Finish a Fight Minigame without making a mistake. ***MISSABLE*** There are a total of 5 Fight Mini-Games during the King's Heir: Rise to the Throne main game, to earn this achievement, simply complete one without making a mistake (going over the same line twice). I have added time stamps to my video walkthrough for all the Fight Mini-Games should you require any assistance with them.
	Impeccable.	Finish a Hidden Object Puzzle with less than 3 mistakes. ***MISSABLE*** There are 11 Hidden Object Scenes in the main game, during one of these you must locate all the items required that are listed at the bottom of the screen and you must make no more than 3 mistakes while doing so (clicking on something within the scene that is not listed at the bottom of the screen) to earn this achievement.
	Master Picklock.	Finish the Lock Picking Minigame without using Skip. ***MISSABLE*** The second mini-game in King's Heir: Rise to the Throne is a lock picking puzzle, complete this without skipping and this achievement is yours. See video walkthrough part 2 @ 4:01 for further assistance.
	No Help Needed.	Finish 3 Hidden Object Puzzles without using Hint. ***MISSABLE*** If you are trying to 100% King's Heir: Rise to the Throne, do not use hints during any of the scenes in the main game, you are free to do so in the bonus chapter if you wish to do so. Once you complete the first 3 scenes in the main game, this achievement is yours.
	Featherweight.	Find half of all Collectibles in the Main Story. ***MISSABLE*** To earn this achievement locate 15 of the Royal Coin collectables during the main game, see the Main Game Royal Coin Collectables chapter of this guide for the locations of all 29.
	Pet Friendly.	Pet all the animals, even if they run away. ***MISSABLE*** In the main game there are a total of 5 animals to interact with (by clicking on them), some will squawk, others will run away when clicked on but click on all 5 and you will earn you this achievement. See the Main Game Animal Collectables chapter of this guide for the locations of all 5 animals.
	In the Blink of an Eye.	Finish a Minigame in less than 30 seconds. ***MISSABLE*** To earn this achievement simply complete a Mini-Game puzzle in less than 30 seconds. I have to confess I do not know if this counts the Fight Mini-Games or not, for me, I earned this on the 4th Mini-Game puzzle (Rotating image puzzle, Tower Base), that said none of the standard puzzles are that challenging. I have added time stamps to my video walkthrough for all the Mini-Games should you require any assistance with them.
	Fearless.	N/A. This is a story related achievement that unlocks when you escape the Torture Chamber.
	Full Belly.	Feed the animals, big and small. To earn this achievement you need to feed the chicken at the Intersection and the horse at the Warehouses , both of these actions are story related and this achievement is not missable.
	Break Time.	Take a moment for a tankard of liquor. This is a story related achievement that unlocks when you fill the Tankard in the Tavern.
	Steadfast.	Finish all the Hidden Object Puzzles without using Hint. ***MISSABLE*** Complete all 11 Hidden Object Scenes in the main game without using a hint and this achievement is yours.
	Master Swordsman.	Finish the final Fight Minigame without using Skip. ***MISSABLE*** To earn this achievement, complete the Fight Mini-Game near the end of the main game at the West Gate Entrance without skipping, see video walkthrough part 6 @ 0:36 for further assistance.
	A Bag of Coins.	Find all the Collectibles in the Main Story. ***MISSABLE*** This achievement unlocks after collecting all 29 Royal Coin collectables during the main game.
	Creator of Kings.	N/A. This is a story related achievement that pops at the end of the main game, just before the final credits.
	Hidden Riches.	Find all the Collectibles in the Bonus Chapter. ***MISSABLE*** This achievement unlocks after locating all 11 Royal Coin collectables in the bonus chapter. See the Bonus Chapter Royal Coin Collectables chapter of this guide for the locations of all 11.

Achievement Guide Part 2.

Fast and Fierce.

Finish a Hidden Object Puzzle in less than 20 seconds.
***MISSABLE***
This achievement is a challenge. Be aware that it can only be earned on scenes in the main game and not the bonus chapter, I know this as I failed to earn it in my first playthrough of the main game and despite completing 2 scenes in the bonus chapter in less than 20 seconds, it did not unlock.

For this achievement you have two options.

1. Practice, at the main menu in the extras section you can practice scenes from the main game, the items are the same each time a scene is played and so you can easily memorise the scene.

2. Use my walkthrough, which has time stamps for all scenes.

The scene you want to try and earn this achievement on is the 7th scene at the Burial Grounds where you have to locate Griffin parts (See video walkthrough part 4 @ 6:21).
