A video where I discuss how to get all the Achievements with in depth focus (review of all gear, skills, masteries, etc) and game play for getting the Challenge Seeker achievement. There are a lot of time stamps in the video description so you can find the specific bit you're looking for.

I didn't realize how powerful the build for Crux actually was until I went back and was time stamping the video. Long story short, Master craft sorcerer robes and hood to keep his INT up decently high, the boots that generate MP on movement, the Black Thirst and Destiny wands for MP steal, high STR stat and shameless Arcane Barrage spam with the occasional spectral touch. Repeated testing shows that barring Crux being taken out in the opening round of the first wave (because you can't avoid being spotted before it starts) the battle is extremely easy and will take out Yadis before she even gets a turn every time.

There is a math error in the video description regarding the potency of the stacked effects that I'll fix later. It looks like the archmage damage buff and veteran true damage both stop granting additional bonuses after 10 MP, I'll fix that description later.

If anyone has any questions let me know, I'll be happy to help. Good luck and have fun.

Nice video ! I gave it a thumbs up.

I would still like to defend the Rogue's honour for Challenge Seekers, Infiltrator is a huge boon for the scripted start fights like Henred and the boss. Getting zero damage in that crucial first turn (and no stuns) would already be quite strong. I know you said that you don't see a spot for Rogue in this achievement, but I did Challenge Seekers twice (once in DC and once in OG) both times on Legendary, and used Rogue - Practitioner - Fighter once and Rogue - Practitioner - Bard the other time, and both worked nicely.

Roscoe's Emporium is in Skara Brae below. Before you can shop there you need to have the quest "Spells is what we sells" active and kill the Trow near the shop, then hang the lantern you were given on the hook by the door. The hook is very small so it can be easy to miss. If you're in the large courtyard area in Skara Brae Below with the raised platform center and the large patrolling monster take the north west corridor off that courtyard and the shop is right near the first turn you'll find.
