Slayer's Testaments Beta installation + Quakespasm

Slayer's Testaments Beta mod installation, QuakeSpasm installation included.
The tutorial contains text from Slayer's Testament readme file and from ingame "tutorials" menu.

New game launches original Quake levels, if you want to play Demo level:
Set the skill through the console, then in the console type "map demo_map", and play.

CONTROLS & CONFIGURATION:

By default:
WASD - Movement, Mouse - Shootung and mouselook blah-blah-blah...
Shift - Meele attack (Glory Kill)
RMB - Alt Fire activation

WEAPON MODS:

Weapon mod bots are scattened throughout the envirovement, they contain useful upgrades/alt fires for your weapons.
How to get mods: simply punch these bots and they will let go of the case they carry. Some of these bots can be hidden.

GLORY KILLS:

Enemies will flash blue and orange when they are in a wounded state, sifnifying they can be glory killed.
To glory kill, simply take out your fists or use your quick meele key (Shift) and they will drop health. Provided health is low enough.
Console command "glorykill_toggle" will disable the wounded state and highlight (not health drops).

DON'T FORGET TO QUICKSAVE! ;)

QuakeSpasm installation

Since the mod is designed to play on Quakespasm, we need to install it.

INSTALLATION

Unzip the contents of the Quakespasm archive (with file replacement) into the folder where the game is stored. For example:
(C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Quake) you can find it in Steam Library properties
Delete "Winquake.exe" > rename "quakespasm.exe" to "Winquake.exe"

QuakeSpasm installation - done!

INSTALLATION

Move the contents of the archive to the folder where the game (Quakespasm) is installed, and run the .bat file called Run Slayer's Testaments.

If the file does not work for you:

Steam>Library>Quake>Properties>General>SET LAUNCH OPTIONS...> insert "-game SlayerTest -sndspeed 44100" and apply>Ready to play!

OR

make a shortcut to Quakespasm or Quakespasm-spiked-win<xx> and add these parameters to the target box

 -game SlayerTest -sndspeed 44100

and when trying to create a shortcut to "Quakespasm or Quakespasm-spiked-win<xx>"
there is nothing located in the quake folder with those names especially after renaming Quakespasm to Winquake ?

Or is it the "Winquake" that needs a shortcut created for....not "Quakespasm" to which it was initially named?? Might wanna add that tiny detail

Cannot get this mod going at all.
In the console i have "couldn't find a cdrip for track 4" and also "map_demo_map brings back an unknown command
Setting the launch options -game SlayerTest -sndspeed 44100 also doesn't work
