how to get iron sights to work with (almost) every weapon in MMod

this will allow you to be able to use ironsights on ALL weapons in the mod "MMod"

this is what MMod is just to give you a basic understanding of what it is:
it is a mod made to enhance the gun play of half life 2, it also makes other subtle improvements, like explosions, etc...

begginings

Tired with normal sight in MMod? do you have a hard time trying to hit your target? this will help you
hit your mark better

tutorial

download the ironsight mod (if you havent or uninstalled it)
go to downloads and go to the archive,
open up another window on computer and navigate to your sourcemods folder
inside the folder is all your mmod remakes for HL2 (if you dont have ut, link is at the end)
then copy the custom folder from the archive and paste it in each one, (NOT THE MAIN ONE)
and then after that, if you dont want to look under the scope when ironsighting with the crossbow, go in the "crossbow with scope ..." in the archive, it is located in the archive above the custom folder, open it up,
then copy and paste MMod_Iron_sight into the custom folder in each of the highlighted folders that can be seen at the bottom under the link (or drag it into them if you prefer that) then start up whichever one you would like to play and start playing on with the ironsights,

The link is broken and mmod 1.3 doesn't have ironsight addon

Yes, the ironsight mod he mentioned is really outdated, but now when you install Mmod 1.3, you will find a variety of .txt tutorials and some vpks that allow you to ironsight without all the trouble of getting more mods. So yeah, this is outdated. BUT if you want AR2 ironsights, some nice people on gamebanana made a really functional ironsights mod for AR2.
