The Meanings of All Those Papers
Por Vintage Blees-o-tron
You may have noticed all those random papers lying around. Most of those are sneaky and not random at all. Here, I will archive the (possibly SPOILER-ridden) screenshots and a brief explaination, so you can save yourself the Google legwork. Any help will be appreciated.

All the Papers

This is actually a real document. A short Google search led me to this page.[www.docstoc.com] The page on the floor is Page 1 of this 9-page document.

I'm not sure if there is a deeper meaning besides "lol no girls" and "I am so wasted right now", but I'll post it anyways.

This is, to my knowledge, text that was borrowed from the game Analogue: A Hote Story. I don't know where specifically in the game it was taken from.

Originally, I thought this was someone's homework page. However, it the the beginning of this text,[www.historicaltextarchive.com] which was written by a noteworthy historian.

This one will require more research. As it stands, it appears to be a recommendation letter from 1991 that cites articles from 2011-2012. Hmm...

Back to more easily-research material, this is pulled directly from this site[www.bucketfillers101.com], which appears to be a site for making yourself and others feel happy. Makes sense.

Hooray for self-reference! This content is from this page,[www.galactic-cafe.com] a behind-the-scenes bit about the making of the game.

Um...these are by the copy machine at the start of the game. That...that's all I have for these.

So, it appears that they are trying to have a company, but there's no cash flow. Huh.

If you ever make it to the Serious Room, this will make much more sense.

Same paper, different locations. It looks like President Obama's birth certificate. In fact, it looks exactly like this photo of it,[i.huffpost.com] from the Huffington Post.

Um, I guess I'm fired then.

It appears to be an invoice for a cable, with a coupon so the cost is 0. If someone better at Hammer could take a look at the texture files for me to get better info, that would be awesome.

Other people have made mention of this one. I think I read that this was a reference to the game Gone Home. More info may be required.

Day 41 in the Lounge? Plebian.

I wasn't able to get a good shot of the entire page, but I was able to track down its origin: this Q&A[www.worldwidewords.org] upon the meaning of the phrase "toffee-nosed", used to describe an arrogant person (not unlike the narrator at points...)

This is a reference to the experimental museum for the fictitious artist Lula Chamberlain, as found in the game Limits and Demonstrations.

Again, I wasn't able to get a great shot of this page, but piecing together some partial looks netted me this Wikipedia article[en.wikipedia.org] on Hill 262, the scene of a bloody fight near the end of the Normandy Invasion of WWII.

This one was tricky, since I hadn't played the game it's referencing. It's from Cart Life. Bonus fact: if you ever notice the phrase "Work Harder, Hard Worker" on a whiteboard, that's also from Cart Life.

NCIX US is a real company, and the phone number at the top is actually their customer service line. My best guess is that this is an invoice from when Galactic Cafe people needed to order new parts.

Special non-page break! This is a whiteboard that is not visible from the main path, but is visible if you delete one of the doors. It's a bit late, so I don't remember which door. The second picture is the top-left corner of the same whiteboard. Found One Eyeball?

Help! I'm a guide!

The next few pages are from the room opposite the boss's room. This page is one of several that are part of a whole, which can be found here.[books.google.com]
All the Papers pt 2
Ran out of space. Begin again!
And to continue the previous page, James Murdoch was accused of knowing too much about phone hacking and brought before committees.

Here we have a classic example of the Wikipedia article for Embezzlement.[en.wikipedia.org]

Pretty sure that the man in the picture is saying: "I am a worker. I love existing."

I literally have nothing for this. I CALL UPON CHRIS-BANE THE MASTER BUNSEN!!

Upside-down, but still able to impart information. The memo references The Way of Zen by Alan Watts (spelled Allan Watts in the memo), one of the most popular books on Buddhism.

Magazine break! There's not a lot of meaning in these; they're just funny.

Others have found the meaning in this. If the numbers are changed to binary, then back to characters, it's the Raphael E-mail.

It's good to see that they have protocols.

Fun note: 1112800 is the number of the Facepunch thread about The Stanley Parable. For extra fun, type facepunch while in the game.

The best guess for this one is the game Atome Zombie Smasher.

Darn it, Adventure Line! This pages are important!

Here are the pages from Papers Please.

A correction has been noted. THIS is the reference to Ittle Dew. My mistake.

Well, that's all the papers I could find. If anyone has anymore, any hints as to their meanings, or even just better quality shots of these pages, let me know! Peace out, and always remember:

i may be late in saying this, but you can zoom in by changing the fov in the console. since the default fov is 90, if you type a different number higher or lower, you can zoom in, or out. use this console command for better shots in the future! :steamhappy:

cl_fov [number]

just replace the word "number" with a number higher or lower than 90 and don't use brackets. then just scroll up and down and have fun!
