Second Galaxy Starter Guide

I've came up with this modest Guide to help the members of my Corp to get started in-game.
I'll do my best to keep it updated over the coming weeks.

Introduction

This modest Guide is for the Second Galaxy game on Android.
I can't promise how accurate it is for the Steam version of the game, considering at the time of writing this, it's still not possible to link your Steam and Android accounts...

P.S.: This game is massively PvP, meaning you can be attacked by another player anytime. Also, ship loss is PERMANENT.

Character Creation

It is my understanding that the choice of our starting Faction and Class is mostly cosmetic. Meaning that aside from a few Faction/Class specific skills (which ANYONE can research later, during mid-game), your early choices will merely affect your starting skills/gear, and a few Quest rewards.

I chose my starting Faction (NEF / Engineer) and Class for fluff, and I have the same endgame potential as anyone else. Also, I was able to "mix Factions" early on, both for Ships and Weapons.

What to Focus on

There is sooo much to do in this game and only 24hrs in a day lol...

• 1) I highly recommand joining a Corp, most of the mid-end gme revolves around Corp fights, Capital ships and System war.
  
• 2) Corp pts are used in mny ways, I use main to buy the resources needed for research. They are gained by donating Gala to your Corp.
  
• 3) Pan Gala is a good way to buy the resources needed for Research;
  
• 3.1) Commodities are bought using Gala, DO NOT and I repeat, DO NOT buy Commodities like ever, not worth it al all. Unload your
  
• 3.2) Contraband gives ALLOT more Pan Gala per unit when sold. One thing to keep in mind tho, NPC security WILL shoot at you when you are carrying Contraband. DO NOT shoot the NPC's, else you will become a Criminal, which is bad early-game. I prefer a smaller and faster ship, like a Frigate outfitted for Contraband run, to a heavier/slower ship.
  
• 4) By completing Quests daily (resets daily at 16:00 ST), you get Galactic pts. Once you hit the max (100GP's), you get 100K Gala for free.
  
• 5) At the time of writing this, weekly Badge challenges DO NOT carry over from one week to another (reset weekly on Monday at 16:00 ST). Dumb as hell if you ask me, but you know... -.- That being said, due to the limited time to complete them, always double check with them to see what you need to do to complete them. Most are really easy, others can be a little tricky and might need you to prepare ahead of time for them.
  
• 6) You can run a maximum of 20x Reputation Quests each week (resets weekly on Sunday at 16:00 ST). I highly recommend that you run them all every week. It's the only way I know to gain Merit to buy high-end Ships and Gear.

Daily Recommended Gameplay

The game is very restrictive on both Loot and XP... Quests and other activities aren't especially rewarding, but there are still some things you want to complete daily in order to reach your XP cap as quickly and rewarding as possible:

• 1) Encounter Quests: You get one free scan every 12hrs (see timer on map). They are pretty rewarding both on XP and loot. I try to run the scan as soon as I can and then activate each of the Quests (3).
  
• 2) Wormholes: You get 2 (+1 if you buy the monthly pass) WH attempts per day, they can be pretty rough but they can also be pretty rewarding, loot wise.
  
• 3) Exploration Quests: While running Explorations missions, you will get some containers which once used gives you a random Exploration mission, just need to complete a mini-game 1st. You can run them whenever you want, they are a good source of Research material.

all i needed to know. thanks for the warning, the game is now uninstalled as it is most definitely not the kind of game i want to be playing.

dont follow the guide do the questlines. anything you purchase or buy set off to the side til you that level in questline all the work you have done when they reset the work is gone. thats what going on. so dont divate i lost a days of solid day of qork i got reinversed 100 green miner boxes.that sucks.im speaking from experience.I was smoking mad.
