Wolf Armor/ Headsman's Axe

There is a bandit added just before entering Riverwood (on the left behind the signpost) He is attempting to hide a full set of Wolf armor and a Headsman's Axe. These items are better than most entry level stuff, so it makes for a better start. Note some of the items may have rolled into the water and maybe drifted down under the bridge.

Headsman's Axe is not the best, but the reach gives you a good advantage!

Noticed sometimes the Riverwood guards may already be fighting him when you arrive
