This is no longer the case. They fixed this issue in 1.0.18

I can also confirm that it does work. I forgot to pick up Number 6 from above. I went into 3-1 and there was a room that simply had the souvenir in it

I can confirm you can find (1) the mask on 1-3 (3-3 to be exact). I had to run it a few times cause Journals seemed to spawn instead before the souvenir.

First is 1-3.

№ 2: Quest, need save caravan in cave. Usually 1-1, but can be found in 1-2/1-3
№ 3: 1-1 Room with the looted camp
№ 4: From quest with two water pump, 3-2

Tried several times to find 13 in 2-2 with no success, so I went after the others. Then I tried ONCE going in 2-1 and finally found it!

After a long time searching, I found mask 12 in phase 2-1 with John. And thanks for the guide, it helped a lot.

@Garnyd, thank you! I tried Joey for souvenir 6 at the level 3-1 and managed to find it. I could not find it with any other character!

Just confirmed it, it's happening again. I am missing 11 (the last one) and I found it on 2-2 with John. I use other character and it did not appear. so I think it is based on room or which character that correlate to it. (except if you got it from quest, then it doesn't matter)

I think they also made souvenirs appear for some certain characters only.
for example, I'm grinding in 3-1 for 14 but it never appears, i do it for like 10 times with different character except Mark and Joey. The moment i changed to Joey, the souvenirs appears.

I'm also trying to find 1 in 1-3 but it never appeared. the moment I changed to Kevin, it appears.

it might be just a coincidences, but idk it happened to me twice so maybe you guys could research further

Still havent found 13 even after hours of grinding all 3 stages in barahut

I found 12 in 2-1 and not 2-2

I'm missing No. 1, 12 and 13 but I need only 2 more for the Achievement? Weird. But also I dont find them. I did at least 30 runs in every Portal in every Room... Does someone know why this happens?

Just so everyone knows, I found number 11 in 2-3. It was the last artifact I needed and it was annoying to find, so I'm putting down where I found it for everyone else.
