EDIT: 1,000 Subscribers?! Thanks so much for the support everyone! :) I'll be sure to bring much more to this mod in the future if I can ^^

A very small, simple, but effective mod: The Morrowind Border Trading Shack!

Adds a trading post owned by a Dark Elf named Tanahel Olatir on the border of Morrowind and Skyrim on the outskirts of Windhelm (and Blacklight in Morrowind). He has a journal with a backstory you can read as well. There is also an Alchemy Lab, Tanning Rack, Anvil, and cooking pot available for you to use inside.There is also his assistant Khajiit with Journal backstory included., who will train you in pickpocketing up to Level 80. There are also 3 new drinks that restore 100 health, stamina, and magika respectively. There is also a note in the Retching Netch Cornerclub that reveals the location of the shack on the map for you.

Tanahel will sell food, clothing, spell books, weapons, alchemy supplies, potions, and many goods from Morrowind/Solstheim. (and a few other surprises!) I've also made the potions, weapons and such displayed for sale on the shelves to be leveled with your character, meaning if you come back later, or the higher your level, the better his merchandise will get!

This mod is aimed to bring a little bit of Morrowind into Skyrim itself. It also bothered me a bit that there isn't really anything interesting on the borders of Skyrim. This mod is aimed at fixing that, giving one of the borders of Skyrim a way of saying "Congrats! You reached the edge of Skyrim! Here, have some nostalgia!" :)

Let me know what you think, and if there are any bugs. As usual with any mod, save separately before you install this mod and afterward.

This mod only has one small known issue that is easily fixable. If the merchant or Khajiit leaves the house, they don't manually return to it, so you have to return them yourself by selecting them in the console, going to the inside of the shack and type "moveto.player". If you load a previous save that's inside the shack, they may dissapear. Restart the game from a save outside and they should reappear :) Still working on fixing this.

@Siberian Spetsnaz, puzzle doors come with claws right? How'd you make it that far without learning that the combination is on the claw?

Sweet! Make sure to put it up on Nexus so people have an opportunity to donate there. ^^

Yeah, definitely wait till Monday/Tuesday until Gaben does his announcement. Then you'll have a better idea what to expect from all this.

Also, it's sad to note many of the big named mods have already been taken down in the Workshop for stealing assets. People are still frothy over that. Wet & Cold recently was slapped with a DMCA notice. I'm not sure if it's still available anymore.

As an aside, I would look into how another Steam modder has set up their paid system. They added "Donate" in the title, set the minimum to $0.30 & then linked the free version on Nexus. Seems plenty of people have given them kudos for taking that type of route. Just something to consider.

@Brezlon

Thanks for the info! I'll check it out!

And thanks! My next mod is actually already done, but I'm probably gonna wait until at least next weekend to release it until all this blows over. :P
