DOOM 2: Hell on Earth - Running on Windows 7 or Higher (GZDOOM)

In this Guide, I will show you how to Run DOOM 2: Hell on Earth on Newer Computers (Windows 7/Higher) using GZDOOM.

1. Source Port Installation

This Section will show you how to install GZDoom in your DOOM Folder.

1. Visit the GZDOOM Website
https://zdoom.org/downloads

2. Purchase & Install DOOM 2: Hell on Earth

3. Go to your folder where DOOM 2: Hell on Earth is installed & create a new Folder called GZDOOM.

4. Extract the gzdoom-bin-4-2-0-Windows-x64 Files to your GZDOOM 2 Folder

5. Copy the DOOM2 WAD File into your GZDOOM 2 Folder

6. Go to Add a Game on Steam.

7. Select GZDOOM 2 and add it as a Non-Steam game.

8. Launch GZDOOM, Select DOOM 2: Hell on Earth & select Play GZDOOM.

9. Enjoy.
