Ultimate DOOM - Running on Windows 7 or Higher (GZDOOM)

In this Guide, I will show you how to Run Ultimate DOOM on Newer Computers (Windows 7/Higher) using GZDOOM.

1. Source Port Installation

This Section will show you how to install GZDoom in your DOOM Folder.

1. Visit the GZDOOM Website
https://zdoom.org/downloads

2. Purchase & Install Ultimate DOOM

3. Go to your folder where Ultimate DOOM is installed & create a new Folder called GZDOOM.

4. Extract the gzdoom-bin-4-2-0-Windows-x64 Files to your GZDOOM Folder

5. Copy the DOOM WAD File & Rename it DOOMU into your GZDOOM Folder

6. Go to Add a Game on Steam.

7. Select GZDOOM and add it as a Non-Steam game.

8. Launch GZDOOM, Select Ultimate DOOM & select Play GZDOOM.

9. Enjoy.
