Dead by Daylight

Dead by Daylight

54 ratings
Tier-list based off of zombie survival
By rubik
Apparently the entity gives superhuman speed/strength, among other things, so killers will be ranked purely among backstory.
Survivor's perks are actual skills they have, although not all of them can be useful.

Killers
S Tier:
Demogorgon

Pros:
Even more unkillable than freddy, since if zombies invade the upside down, there are other demons to support it.
Cons:
If ended up in the real world, with somehow no way to get out, would last a solid 5 days since they will try to eat a zombie and prolly get bit eventually.
Freddy

Pros:
Literally unkillable, unless zombies can be considered "sleeping".
Cons:
If they are, he is too deranged and lacking in superior weaponry to be able to keep himself alive for long.

A Tier:
Huntress

Pros:
Amazing survival skills, great with throwing anything, lots of hatchets, and also has chains and a quiet home in the woods.
Cons:
Insane, kidnaps little girls who might turn and eat her.

Ghostface

Pros:
Amazing stealth capabilities, has a collection of weapons, knows the layout of many cities, and pretty big brain.
Cons:
Costume is pretty vulnerable to almost any wounds, not super athletic.

Legion

Pros:
Has a group they can rely on, has knives and also somewhat menacing masks to raid people and intimidate them.
Cons:
High school students, so quite panicky, and not likely to win close-quarter against nearly anything unless they have a knife they're used to.

B Tier:
Wraith

Pros: Had superhuman strength before entity, able to rip a man's spine out of his body and use it as a weapon.
Cons:
Very scared and unstable, will make wrong decisions at wrong times.

Hillbilly

Pros:
Has a chainsaw, able to break through brick walls as a child, probably able to slaughter zombies just as well as animals.
Cons:
Completely deranged, will probably try to eat zombie meat or ignore danger.

Trapper

Pros:
Strong, great at hunting or protecting any shelter he has w/ bear traps.
Cons:
From humans, not zombies, zombies can just pull themselves out of the trap, they don't care about their legs.

Cannibal

Pros:
Has a stronger chainsaw (for zombies) than billy, very dangerous.
Cons:
Will DEFINITELY try to eat zombie meat, ignores any danger.

C Tier:
Myers

Pros:
Can definitely handle wounds, killing machine.
Cons:
Will probably try to kill every zombie he sees, charging into hordes. He's almost invincible against bullets and wounds, not infection.

D Tier:
Nurse

Pros:
Able to strangle people to death.
Cons:
Crazy, Scared, and irrational. Also has zero survival skills.

Doctor

Pros:
Uber-mega genius
Cons:
Completely insane, so there goes most of that logic. Also has zero survival skills, and likes pain.

Pig

Pros:
Ok with killing, has a secure base.
Cons:
It's secure from the outside, not the inside. There are so many corpses jesus crist. Also, she would never leave it behind, she's loyal to jigsaw.

Clown

Pros:
Good at killing, intimidating.
Cons:
May have been in shape earlier, but not at all now. He's fat and loud and slow and breathes toxins all the time and just... yeah. He also will stop to collect the finger of literally every zombie.

F Tier:
Plague

Pros:
Pretty tall for an egyptian.
Cons:
Died hundreds of years ago. Even if still alive and young today, super sick and does not understand the world and zombies at all. Will probably cause even more problems by spreading the plague among the zombies when she gets eaten.

Hag

Pros:
Fine with eating bad food
Cons:
Literally starving to death, would be dead if not for the entity, will eat zombie flesh, has almost no weapon, since zombies can bite her huge claw.

Spirit

Pros:
???
Cons:
Already a zombie, even if she was still alive and not katana'd, high schooler, zero combat experience, mom died in front of her, zero weapons since dad took katana, and zero survival skills.

Oni
I hit the limit for picture I can put in, so here's spirit's picture again.

Pros:
Has samurai skills (kinda?).
Cons:
Literally a zombie, died a long time ago like a beta gamer. This would be like ranking the tank from LFD2 into survival skills.
Survivors
S Tier:
Steve Harrington

Pros:
Steve "The Hair" Harrington. Single mom powers.
Also has sweet baseball bat skills, and has lots of friends to help him.
Cons:
They say he dumb, but I say more like a dummy thicc.

Ace Visconti

Pros:
Pretty fit for an old guy, smart & attentive, has already been on the run for a while, can probably talk his way out of or trick bandits, definitely has secret stashes all over the country, can keep a great attitude even in dire situations, can probably lockpick and hotwire a car, can keep quiet when in pain, and is really lucky.
Cons:
Doesn't have any obvious weaponry, but I don't doubt he could find something. He's super lucky.

Bill Overbeck

Pros:
Army veteren, total badass, was actually in a zombie game with way tougher zombies.
Cons:
Canonically died in the zombie game, doesn't leave people behind.

Ash Williams

Pros:
Gone against way worse things. I'm not gonna list all of it, just look him up. Complete badass, hand is invincible to infection, great with shotguns, can turn his hand into a chainsaw, wears socks with sandals.
Cons:
Doesn't leave people behind, wears socks with sandals, cocky.

A Tier:
Jake Park

Pros:
Very good survival skills, could probably live off the woods his whole life. A good fighter and sneaky because of hunting skills.
Cons:
Not good with people, unfamiliar with what electronics/vehicles could cause a loud noise or not.

Yui Kimura

Pros:
Epic all girl biker gang, incredibly agile and great at dodging attacks. Owns a motorcycle, a god on it too. Pretty smart and very persistant, will prolly be able to intimidate people into giving her stuff, or joining her. She's also strong, and is used to taking a beating.
Cons:
Only speaks japanese (which should only be a problem if she leaves japan), doesn't usually wear very protective clothing.

Adam Francis

Pros:
Very smart, resourceful, and cunning. Doesn't back down and knows how to stay unnoticed. Has a lot of knowledge forgotten to most survivors due to teaching.
Cons:
Not gifted athletically in any way. Living in a country nearly foreign to him.

Jane Romero

Pros:
Very inspirational and a great leader to other survivors, has had a variety of talk shows with doctors and survivors and such, very forthright, headstrong, and a fighter.
Cons:
"Easily grabbable".

Feng Min

Pros:
Very alert, perceptive, used to staying up, very nimble, and great with machinery.
Cons:
Might fall asleep at the wrong time, unless she gets some good sleep eventually. Will be very sad for a long time due to the loss of internet.

Nancy Wheeler

Pros:
Great shot, has lots of friends to help her (including best boy, steve harrington), has seen some ♥♥♥♥, zombies are nothin'. Also has pretty good grit and composure. Decent at hiding.
Cons:
Not many other survival skills, and not insanely athletic. Not good with melee weapons.

B Tier:
David King

Pros:
Very buff strong man, rich, so probably will have a good amount of supplies. Shirtless.
Cons:
Will probably try to take on every zombie 1 on 1. Shirtless.

Kate Denson

Pros:
Country girl, great with music and can inspire others with song. A true fighter, would never lose a struggle to a mere zombie, and knows when she's spotted something good for her. Makes very little tracks.
Cons:
Country girl, might be loud if trying to drown out sorrows with song.

Jeff Johansen

Pros:
Has a loyal dog, knows how to travel the road, pretty strong, wears tough clothes, and has a warm, luscious beard. Can hide himself well.
Cons:
Apparently he has a unique stench. Looks shady to most people, unless he wears different clothes besides that biker outfit. Then he look like Jesus, and also like "Jesus".

David Tapp

Pros:
Paranoid & Smart, an ex-detective, so has a good amount of access to weapons and protection. Knows the layout of some cities/towns due to searching for jigsaw's base.
Cons:
Paranoid, a little unstable, seems to be very unlucky to me.

C Tier:
Meg Thomas

Pros:
Very Athletic, probably has good running shoes.
Cons:
Her backstory tells nothing except her being athletic and unstable, having to release all her energy on the track, and caring about her mom a lot. So... her only skill is being athletic, and apparently she'll be restless a lot since you have to hide a lot. Also, she'll be very distraught when her mom dies.

Nea Karlsson

Pros:
Somewhat athletic, prolly owns a wicked skateboard, can mark places with her graffiti, very sneaky and conservative.
Cons:
Quite ugly and demoralizing as a person. Also, is incredibly rash & unlucky.

Dwight Fairfield

Pros:
Very good with people, not very noticeable. Has lots of pizza, adn knows the layout of his home city/town very well due to pizza delivery job on bike.
Cons:
A coward, not good with a weapon or firearm.

Claudette Morel

Pros:
Great medical skills, can somehow perform surgery on herself without any supplies. Good at hiding.
Cons:
Unathletic, quite panicky, will try to save people, even if they are true goners. As people die around her, she'll probably get sadder.

D Tier:
Laurie Strode

This is weird. I'll just do the old and young versions.
If she was old, easy S tier. She's prepared, already paranoid, has a family she can teach to fight, and has a huge armory and hiding place, and there are traps all around her house. Her house is also secluded from the public.
If she's young, like in the game, though... D.
Pros:
Clever, brave, and very lucky. She also is good at running even while injured. She can also (barely) fend off michael with a clothes hanger
Cons:
High school student, so will be very panicky and cowardly at first. Already traumatized by Michael, so she may freeze and have flashbacks.

F Tier:
Quentin Smith

Pros:
Has a knack for finding medicine, can recover faster in general.
Cons:
Will probably never recover from sleep deprivation, and even after the zombie apocalypse, still believes he is still (or may actually be) being hunted down by freddy, so he will never risk sleep. He sucks at doing literally anything due to sleep deprivation, and if he runs out of meds to keep himself awake, he will definitely be in a coma for at least 2 weeks, which is enough time for him to get eaten/stabbed in the chest.
