Symphony of the Night Soundtrack

1/11/2022 - I will fix up this mod once the dust has settled on the big new update!!

Dracula X: Nocturne in the Moonlight (Akumajou Dracula X: Gekka no Yasoukyoku). This mod is based on the original PS1 soundtrack, and includes two songs exclusive to the Sega Saturn version. There is also a cover of Bloody Tears by 楓-kaede-, and a few tracks from Simon's Quest, but most tracks are ripped from the original soundtrack CD that I imported from Japan many years ago. The default resolution for music in Dead Cells is 192kbps, a decent quality, but my mod files are nearly double that, so that the rich fullness of the music shines through.

Symphony of the Night was one of the original inspirations for Dead Cells as well as many other Metroidvania games. It is no wonder this Castlevania soundtrack matches up with Dead Cells perfectly. I worked hard in order to make the whole soundtrack flow together and not repeat any track too often. Nothing has been changed except for music files. If I made any mistakes please let me know!

The latest update (12/19/2020) includes additional Michiru Yamane compositions, including music from Castlevania: Lament of Innocence. New tracks also include different arrangements of "Bloody Tears," "Monster Dance," and "Wicked Child" (originally written by Konami Kukeiha Club and Kenichi Matsubara) by Vincent Diamante, Michiko Naruke, and Trevor Morris.
