HOW TO STOP ONLINE LAG!! [for new players]

TURN ON YOUR ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ VERTICAL SYNC!!!!!!!!!

WHY?

This is a fighting game. It is supposed to run at 60 fps. If you have vertical sync off, it will ♥♥♥♥ EVERYTHING UP. So please, turn on vertical sync. Every new player I encounter online with 0 BP has extremely terrible ♥♥♥♥♥♥ teleporting ass lag. Turn on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ vertical sync so the game locks at 60 and plays smooth. Thank you!

The game isn't supposed to be played above 60 fps. This un-syncs players online and makes characters teleport and ♥♥♥♥.

HOW?

1) main menu
2) options
3) graphics settings
4) VERTICAL SYNC ON

5) then run a benchmark so your PC gets a grade online and you can find matches.

Vsync will only help if you can't get 60 FPS average. But that isn't lag, it's performance. Lag is from poor internet connections, or a computer that can't run the game period.

yes this helps tremendoulsy im in usa and my friend is in Australia and we play V Sync ON and no lags.

If you turn V-sync on you introduce input-lag which. Keep v-sync off just because when you run the benchmark and you get 200+fps doesn't mean your game will also run that fast; if you play single-player mode with V-sync off the game doesn't run at 200+fps. The game won't run faster than 60fps no matter what. Keep v-sync off; if you hate screen-tearing lower some of your quality settings.
