Less Grinding Fix

This is an adjustment for the Steam version of 1931: Scheherazade at the Library of Pergamum.

This fix makes gameplay more enjoyable by reducing the amount of grinding to get points to proceed.

This is an adjustment for the Steam version of 1931: Scheherazade at the Library of Pergamum.

This fix makes gameplay more enjoyable by reducing the amount of grinding to get points to proceed.

The fix has to be applied manually.

Close "1931: Scheherazade at the Library of Pergamum" if you are running it.

Right click on "1931: Scheherazade at the Library of Pergamum" in your Steam Library and select Properties.

Click on the tab "Local Files".

Select "Browse Local Files".

In the file explorer that launches open the folder called game.

Copy the files (ensure that they replace existing files instead of saving as a new file with (1) etc after the name):

https://github.com/SimplePatches/1931-Scheherazade-Less-Grinding/releases/download/v1.0/inspirations.rpyc

and

https://github.com/SimplePatches/1931-Scheherazade-Less-Grinding/releases/download/v1.0/stats.rpyc

into this directory replacing the original files.

Run "1931: Scheherazade at the Library of Pergamum" and start a new game. The patch does not apply to save games.

To undo this fix (as well as any other fixes) right click on "1931: Scheherazade at the Library of Pergamum" in your Steam Library and select Properties, select the Local Files tab and click Verify Integrity of Game Files.

No - the fixes I made were very simple - increasing a value or two in one spot and fixing a misspelled name or two. The other ones just don't seem to have enough points and I wouldn't have any idea where to start to fix it. Sorry...

Hi! Thanks so much for making these mods. Would you be able to make one to fix the Driven, Loved by All, Romanced by None and Everybody's Best Friend achievements? Very annoying there are some achievements we can't get in this game! Really appreciate your work!
